From the same location as my last shot, only an hour or so before. This shot was quite the focus stack, I think it was about 9 images from memory, and exposure blended, too. Gotta love shooting at 10mm 🤪 I think the closest I focused was about 15cm or so! @laowa.au#notspon

I know black and white images don’t do well on Instagram but I don’t even care - I like it! What do you guys think? Thanks to @robmulally for lighting the scene and @melissafindley for always being the best subject ✌️
Ps. Yes, that’s the moon in the sky, but it’s not moonlight on the foreground. Any guesses how it was done?

Alright! A post.. how does this go again? Happy New Year, everyone! I’m a bit late, but had some time off to mentally reset 😜 Social media certainly has a way of putting a strain on your brain, it’s good to disconnect every now and then ✌️ #imbackbaby

I hope you’ve enjoyed my images from @visitjapanau over the past week, just as much as I’ve enjoyed capturing them. As usual, I’ll be uploading a blog post later this week that will feature a lot more of my images from the trip! This image was taken in the grounds of Osaka Castle.. I actually had a view of this castle from my hotel room! #visitjapanau

We get some nice autumn colour here in Australia, but it pales in comparison to what we saw in Japan last week. Yellows, oranges and reds for days! It contrasted beautifully with the morning’s fog. @visitjapanau#visitjapanau

Spent the day exploring around Lake Biwa in the Shiga Prefecture. Some pretty impressive rice fields scattered around, unfortunately for me they had been harvested, but still look pretty amazing in this golden light. @visitjapanau#visitjapanau

It’s not everyday you get to witness the first snowfall of the season in Hokkaido, Japan. Luckily for us, it came the day we arrived! Lake Mashu is actually one of the clearest lakes in the world and one of Japan’s deepest. The colour of the lake is known as Mashu Blue and is apparently even more impressive during clear weather! @visitjapanau#visitjapanau

If you’ve been following along on my stories for the last week you’ll have seen I’m exploring @visitjapanau for my second time! This little village is tucked away in Ine Bay. Some call it the ‘Venice of Japan.’ #visitjapanau

There once was a guy named Matt
who was feeling a little bit flat.
He pulled out his drone
and plugged in his phone.
Now he’s writing this ridiculous caption that doesn’t even rhyme.

A slightly different take on a very popular Tasmanian tree perched on the unmistakable granite boulders of Binalong Bay. Shot with the @olympus_au E-M1 Mark II and 7-14mm. #olympusinspired

Well, I certainly didn’t expect to be spoilt for choice when it came to awesome landscape/nature vibes in @visitcanberra. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least! This spot in particular, Mulligan’s Flat, could keep me exploring for days. Hands up if you’ve ever visited Canberra? Or hands up if you’re as surprised as I was with how much awesome landscape there is to explore in and around Canberra! 🙋🏻♂️🌿 #visitcanberra

Remember last night’s post from @visitcanberra? Well, this was taken more or less directly under those rocks. I present to you... Lego Land, of Namadgi National Park. We spent a good several hours here after the sun went down exploring all the little intricacies of the cave - definitely need to get back here - pronto! #visitcanberra
