We just love it when new gear hits the shelves at BL. The Panasonic S1 and S1R are both here, and they’re awesome. We have plenty of testing to do but at a glance, the S1 has a 24.2 MP sensor and with a purchasable software key, will record 10-bit 4:2:2 internally! The clearly more stills-focused S1R has a healthy 47.3 MP sensor and using Panasonic’s high-resolution mode, you can create a 187 MP still image. Both cameras share an SD and XQD card slot, and they both have awesome in-body IS that will work in conjunction with L mount lenses’ built in optical stabilization. Pretty sweet! How are you feeling about this new camera?
