Okay mamas! How many of you experienced post partum shedding aka your hair falling out!? 😭 Okay, now comment what helped you so we can help new mamas going through this or anyone experience hair loss in general.
I feel like I talk about post partum shedding more than anything on my page because I've been deal with it and it's affect on my hair for the past couple of years. 😫 Not all women will experience this condition, and some may experience it in one pregnancy but not another. Nobody warned me about it with my first and I prepared myself for the 2nd because I knew the odds were not forever in my favour! Thank the Lord it reduced drastically after this with the black tea & rice water rinse thanks to so many recommendations. Other ways to be sure to stop it is by ensuring your blood sugar, iron, ferritin, zinc and vitamin D levels are normal and check your thyroid. A healthy diet is key. I've also been taking collagen and have been experiencing even less shedding. I know how depressing hair loss can be and you don't even have to go through pregnancy to experience hair loss. I speak to so many of you who have or are going through it. Please, keep me updated on your hair journies (I say this to so many people and only like 5 of you keep me updated 🤣) and let me know what works for you so we can help another who's going through hell right now.

April 2019 vs February 2018!
Do you see a difference in my hair? 🤔
It took me 1 year to transition from my hair falling out due to post partum shedding! My hair was so thin and every style I did came out trash! I went through post partum shedding again after having Max, but the black tea rinse & rice water stopped it completely. The only way of helping my hair was to cut it off but I didn't want to do another big chop. I transitioned instead and was cutting like crazy! This journey amongst many has taught me how important regular trims are along with my current routine and methods. I definitely can feel how much healthier and thicker my hair is now but I didn't notice until I saw a picture from last year, WOW! This is a perfect example of why I prefer health or length.
Trying to make #breastfeeding in the car look elegant, knowing damn well issa struggle. 🤱🏽🌺
Anyone have any interesting breastfeeding stories? You would think having 2 years of experience I would be a pro but the reality is, this shit is still hard and takes a lot of work. This time around I'm more prepared, knowing what to do before all hell breaks loose. Learning to listen to my body when I get those spidey senses before my milk starts rushing out. Trying to ignore another babies cry so my milk doesn't rush out. Our bodies are truly amazing what they're capable of. It's such a beautiful experience but also a tedious one as well. To all mom's currently struggling with breastfeeding, you got this! Remember where you started and how far you have come. Let it be 2 weeks, 2 months, or 2 years, Breastfeeding is the best thing you can do for your baby; but don't beat yourself up if it doesn't work out. Any mother feeding their baby regardless is a great mom. #normalizebreastfeeding 🍼
