Romantic Trakoscan by @da.mikulek96
Once Upon a Time a Count Built a Beautiful Castle…
If you want a day straight out of a fairytale, then the Trakošćan Castle is your perfect choice. Located on a hill, surrounded by a beautiful forest and a lake, this 13th century castle is sure to bring out your inner romantic. For a complete fairytale experience, take a horse drawn carriage ride through the surrounding area, and then have a look inside the castle and its knight armors, a valuable collection of Baroque furniture, hunting trophies and an impressive weapons collection. One of the legends says that the castle was named after the Drachenstein knights meaning “Dragonstone”… Hm, all Game of Thrones fans should give this some thought. #Trakoscan#castle#travel#photography#architecture#landscape#sky#nature#ig#love#photooftheday#architecture #VisitTrakoscan

Magical Hvar by @evan.fang.photography
This island is an island of excellence in many ways. And it’s an excellence that transcends borders, as Hvar is reckoned among the top ten most beautiful islands on the Earth. Plenty of sunshine (indeed, the largest amount of annual sunshine) is just a small feature of its attractive mosaic. You will get a more complete picture of the island and its value if you visit its largest town. In Hvar town is the largest square in Dalmatia along with the Cathedral of St Stephen. The square is named after the same saint as the cathedral, though the people of Hvar call it ‘Pjaca’.
The theatre in Hvar was one of the first municipal theatres built in Europe. It was founded in 1612 and is located in the Arsenal building. #Hvar#VisitHvar#Croazia#Hrvatska#Croatia#CroatiaFullOfLife#Travel#Adriatic#Sea#Vacay#Paradise#Blue
Plitvice Lakes by @s.n.razvodovskij @plitvicelakesnp – a favourite for many
Legend has it that Plitvice Lakes were formed after a massive drought, all thanks to the Black Queen. People, animals and plants longed for a drop of #water , and then she appeared. The Black Queen showed mercy to the people and sent rain that kept falling until the water levels grew high enough to form #lakes .
The water wealth of this oldest, largest, and most famous national park consists of 16 lakes located in the area between Mala Kapela and Plješivica in Lika.
The extraordinary #nature and abundance of flora and fauna attracts millions of tourists every year from all over the world, and so it is no wonder that #Plitvice Lakes are the most visited Croatian national park. In addition to tourists, its beauty was recognised by UNESCO in 1979, which was among the first in the world to pronounce it a World Heritage Site. #plitvicefullexperience#CroatiaFullOfNature
