  • Looking for a chocolate indulgence this Easter Sunday? Try a double choc oats bowl. 🥣
MAKE IT: 
1/2 cup oats | 1 cup water | 1/2 cup almond milk | 2 tbsp cocoa powder | 1/2 mashed banana | 1tsp cinnamon - cooked on medium heat until creamy. 
Add xylitol / honey 🍯 for sweetness 
Topped with granola, more banana slices and some peanut butter. 🥄 
Add an extra scoop of your fave choc flavoured protein powder (whey or plant based🌱 ) to double up on the chocolate. .
Serves 2 (or 1 if it’s post activity and recovery breakfast 🥞) 📷 @barbarasjourney

  • Almost Easter! Try these delicious Coconut Cream Eggs! 🍳🐰

Filling:
•	¾ cups coconut butter (blend coconut flakes for about 2mins until turned into a buttery mixture)
•	1 ½ cups unsweetened shredded coconut
•	1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•	¼ cup maple syrup/sugar free syrup of choice

Shell:
•	1 ½ cups dark chocolate/sugar free chocolate chips
•	2-3 tablespoons coconut oil
•	½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Method:
•	Simply mix your filling together and roll into balls/egg shapes.
•	Freeze for 15mins
•	While freezing, melt your chocolate, add coconut oil and vanilla extract and mix
•	Remove your eggs from the freezer and place over a wire cooling rack, dip each egg in the chocolate mixture and sprinkle with coconut flakes or drizzle extra chocolate on top

I used FitChef’s “Gap” Smoothie along with their indulgent Swiss Muesli 😍 I also added some banana, dragon fruit and chia seeds, all bursting with nutrients! 🍌

@grenadeofficial Chocolate Almond Vegan Cake... this is a cheeky treat! 🙌🏻💚🍫

Serves: 10
* 360g plain flour
* 145g coconut sugar
* pinch salt
* 2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
* 50g cocoa powder
* 180ml vegetable oil
* 1 tsp almond extract
* 500ml sweetened Almond milk
* 30g Flaked almonds
*

Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180C /350F/ Gas 4
2. Grease two 6” cake tins and line the bottom with a disc of greaseproof paper
3. Sift flour, bicarb, salt and cocoa into a bowl. Add the coconut sugar and then all the wet ingredients and finally the flaked almonds. Mix well with a wooden spoon. 
4. Evenly add to both 6” cake tins and bake for 45 minutes, check that skewer comes out clean
5. Allow to cool for ten minutes before placing onto a cooling rack
6. Optional: When cooled, Chocolate frosting recipe below

Ingredients for chocolate optional frosting:
* 200g icing sugar (sifted)
* 100g Softened Dairy free Vitalite vegan butter
* 50g Cocoa (sifted)
* 10ml sweetened Almond milk
* 5x Grenade ‘Go Nuts’ bars

Method:
* Slightly melt the dairy free butter in the microwave so it’s soft
* Sift the cocoa powered and icing sugar together
* Add the almond milk
* Beat the frosting * *If it’s not quite wet enough add a little extra almond milk.
* Decorate with broken GoNuts Vegan Grenade bar pieces. The frosting mixture has to be quite loose so the bars will stick to the cake sides
