  • Taxi culture in Quito — groovy steering wheel covers, family rosaries around the rear view mirrors and constant reminders by the drives to us gringos to “gently” close the doors. I think we have a thing for slamming doors in the United States. More #ektachrome, more #35mm.

  • I’m stoked to share “Griffin”, a Visual Portrait (🎥 link in profile), I made about my childhood friend Griffin, a professional cyclist who’s working towards his goal of racing in a Grand Tour. Griffin, a Visual Portrait, is the first in a personal series of films I’m currently making about people I meet in this great big world who encourage an inspired life! Here’s to you Griff, cheers! Produced by @lagofilm with support from @kelly_noecker @kristoferevered @tristgram @buildaroundit

  • Our little friends from Quito. We learned their secret handshake — they learned a thing or two about cameras. #southamerica #ilfordhp5

  • Point Betsie Lighthouse on a frigid afternoon in Northern Michigan. Winter is here and I’m afraid — it’s here to stay. #michigan #ptbetsie #winter

  • These two traveling hooligans — the key ingredients to yet another successful venture down south. Fun fact, the “Panama Hat” is actually made in Ecuador and Keaton’s mustache is indeed legendary. #portra800 #southamerica #sunnydegrees

  • Travelers at our hostel are delighted to see Cotopaxi through the clouds after multiple days of bad weather rendered this view unimaginable. We would decide after 4 days of acclimatization to attempt a summit of Cotopaxi the next day. Soaring above the clouds at 19,347 feet it would be a long climb but we were excited for the challenge during our 10 day exploration of Ecuador. #southamerica #cotopaxi #35mm #fuji400h
