Demi has only been working in the industry for half a decade, but realised quickly that make up was her passion after completing a short module during her first year as a Somatology student in 2014.
She qualified thereafter with 2 years’ worth of diplomas, as well as ITEC qualifications.
Moving her focus away from Somatology, she then proceeded to pursue her love for make-up and special effects by qualifying with both national and international certifications, and began her career at Kryolan South Africa shortly after completing her studies.
From starting out in the retail department, to becoming a member of the Kryolan SA Make-Up Team, and has recently moved her way up into the Marketing Department as an assistant, Demi has moved her way around the industry finding what really enables her to be creative and express her ideas freely. “There is so much gratification in knowing that by using trusted quality products to create visual effects, one can be mildly or completely transformed, sometimes to the point of being unrecognizable. To be able to see clients reactions are what makes our jobs as artists worth it every single time.” #kryolan#kryolansa#makeup#makeupartist#MUA#MasterclassSA2019

Various shades of the HOLOGRAPHC PIGMENTS were generously mixed in with the ‘Crystal Rose’ HIGH GLOSS and layered onto the eyelids to achieve the wave-like structure. ‘Blue’ GLAMOUR SPARKS is another showstopper here when applied to the skin as a blue-based highlighter on the lips. It ties in the overall blue theme to the make -up, which is specific to that of the Melting Glaze Trendlooks.
