'Cod fishing is the main industry for locals that live on the Lofoten Islands. Wooden drying racks like the one shown in the foreground here, are constructed all over the islands. The fish are hung from these racks and allowed to dry out in the cold arctic air. Sometimes the smell can be very overwhelming!' – @michaelpetrick91#lpinstatakeover#lpPathfinders#Norway

'This view of the small village of Hamnøy is a classic as you cross the bridge into #Toppøy . The Rorbuer, or traditional fisherman huts, line up perfectly underneath the mountain in the background. These rorbuer can also be rented as accommodation when visiting. Would you want to stay here?' – @michaelpetrick91#lpinstatakeover#lpPathfinders#Norway

This weekend's #lpinstatakeover comes to you from #lpPathfinders member @michaelpetrick91, who will be sharing images from his recent trip to #Norway 's Lofoten Islands. – 'This archipelago has risen in popularity in recent years, especially with photographers, due to the beautiful and unique landscape. This is also one of the best places in the world to go Northern Lights hunting. Most people wouldn’t imagine that a place 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle would be good for a vacation, but I think these pictures could change anyone’s mind. I hope you enjoy!' – @michaelpetrick91 -- Keep an eye on our feed this weekend for more Lofoten frames!

#Bangkok 's night markets are famous the world over, and #LonelyPlanet author @i_mahapatra snapped this awesome shot of Rot Fai night market from a convenient vantage point – 'The Rot Fai night market is one of the coolest places to spend a summer evening in Bangkok. Under these rows of illuminated tents are a plethora of stalls offering delicious food items, thirst quenching beverages and sundry merchandise for shopaholics in general. 'Karavostasis is a tiny port that connects Folegandros with the nearby islands. Although some may find it too busy with boats coming in and out of the bay, I like it exactly for that reason. Here, you can observe fishermen returning from sea with their daily catch, and savor that catch at the local taverna moments later. A pebble beach with a small strip of sand and quiet waters is the perfect ending to another sun, seafood, and sea filled day. Thank you for following along this Greek adventure and I hope you enjoyed it!' – @insearchofperfect -- That's all for this weekend's #lpinstatakeover ! 'Getting to the tiny fishing village of #Firopotamos on the northernmost side of #Milos is an adventure. Narrow, winding country roads go up and down steeply until you reach a secluded bay with calm emerald waters. Fishing, snorkeling, or simply lounging on the sandy strip are all a delight here. A small snacks and drinks shack nearby ensures Firopotamos is a place that’s impossible to leave.' – @insearchofperfect#lpinstatakeover#lpPathfinders#Greece

'The #Cyclades consist of more than 200 volcanic islands in the Aegean Sea, many of them uninhabited. #Milos is one of the bigger and better-known islands. The 70+ beaches of Milos are quite diverse, ranging from tiny deserted bays to sprawling dunes of sand. Among them, #Sarakiniko on the island’s north shore is, by far, the biggest crowd-pleaser. Its otherworldly volcanic rock formations remind me of whimsical moonscapes, and its calm emerald waters are perfect for an after-hike dip.' – @insearchofperfect#lpinstatakeover#lpPathfinders#Greece

To Cyclades, the Greek islands in the Aegean Sea of course! A few years ago, I fell in love with the combination of deep blues of the water, and bright whites of the villages here. I’ve been coming back ever since. Over the next few days, I’ll share some of my favorite beach spots in the Cyclades. Enjoy!' – @insearchofperfect -- Keep an eye on our feed this weekend for more!
