  • I follow some single ministries on here that have the intent to encourage and inspire to make the most out of your singleness but feel like most of them miss the point.
If you look up the word “SINGLENESS” you’ll find words like separate, apart, distinctive, WHOLE, complete, ONE WITH SELF but instead of focusing on becoming all of the above, most people concentrate on an imaginary partner at the end of this waiting season (hate that word btw. wtf you waiting for?)
I remember once telling my counselor about the man I was praying for and everything I wanted him to be and she said ‘why don't you ask God to prepare YOU so you're actually ready when that man arrives?’
I feel like we're so quick to make demands on who we wanna date but forget to ask ourselves 'what might this person want from me?' What do I have to offer other than a suitcase full of childhood traumas and coping mechanisms?
I’m not saying you don’t deserve everything you’re praying for but can you even handle what you’re praying for right now?
My point is this: a person who has their shit together doesn’t date train wrecks so instead of letting the internet know that we only date “real ones” now, how about we be real with ourselves first? We attract what we are so if all you attract is crazy, I got some news for you…

  • AN UPDATE ON MY PERSONAL PROGRESS 👇🏻⁣⁣

As many of you know, I've been kicking up my fitness efforts in the last month and a half with my coach @anderkat30.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If ya DON'T know 👉🏻I hired Kathie about 7 weeks ago to help me with a few specific things:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
✔️Improve the quality of my diet (aka, not live off of cinnamon rolls and protein bars)⁣⁣
✔️Push myself harder in the gym (rather than the 70% effort I've been giving to my workouts for months now)⁣⁣
✔️Lose a few pounds (yep - through the holiday season!)⁣⁣
✔️Stay accountable to it ALL - because this is the tough part.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I know how to create an amazing diet protocol for myself, build a killer workout plan, and strategize how to lose weight on an ideal timeline... but KNOWING what to do is different than having the energy or motivation to MAKE yourself do it.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And after months of saying "I'm working on this!!!" and seeing very little change... I got help. 😉⁣⁣
⁣⁣
BUT the reason you're all here: how have things been going lately?⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Well.. pretty dang good! My nutrition choices have improved a lot for me. I'm making more mindful decisions around food, and eating a LOT more veggies, and staying a lot more accountable to my macro goals rather than just "meh"-ing it.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Weight dropped a lot last month, and I actually haven't stepped on the scale in a couple weeks, but I actually have SEEN more physical change in my body THIS month than last month... and that's way more important than physical pounds lost on the scale.⁣⁣
⁣
And best of all? Still not feeling restricted, like I'm "dieting", or obsessing about food... this has just been pretty easy for me outside of the times where I travel and nutrition is harder to manage.⁣⁣
⁣
It feels good to see myself double down on a fitness goal and STILL maintain the happy mental balance & inner peace around food & fitness. And makes me feel even more connected to my own clients going through this journey as well.⁣

  • MUSS ICH ODER WILL ICH? .

Gehörst du auch noch zu den Menschen, die denken sie müssten Dinge tun, die sie machen und dass man ja keine andere Wahl hat? .

Dann ist es allerhöchste Zeit für dich umzudenken! Denn ALLES KANN, NICHTS MUSS .

So viele Menschen sind mit ihrem Leben unzufrieden, doch warum? .

So oft höre ich den Spruch „ich muss zur Arbeit.. garkein Bock“ .

Doch muss man? Wer zwingt einen denn dort hin zu gehen? KEINER! .

Es ist immer die Entscheidung von einem selbst. MAN HAT DIE FREIHEIT ZU WÄHLEN, WIE MAN LEBEN MÖCHTE (in Deutschland jedenfalls) .

Wenn mir mein Job nicht gefällt, warum mache ich nicht einfach was anderes? Mein Ziel im Leben ist es, mich selbst zu verwirklichen und Spaß zu haben bei allem, was ich tue . „Du bist doch naiv“ hört man oft bei so einer Einstellung.. doch ist es nicht naiv zu denken, dass man Dinge tun muss, und sich zum Opfer seiner Umstände macht? .

Man bleibt einfach handlungsunfähig, mit dem Gefühl der erlernten Hilflosigkeit und resigniert! .

Um Glücklich zu werden, muss man lernen, dass man selbst DER ENTSCHEIDER SEINES LEBENS ist und die eigenen Entscheidungen einen dorthin gebracht haben wo man jetzt ist (und nicht das Universum oder der Zufall) .

Also „tu was du willst, aber nicht, weil du musst“ -Buddha- . ... und fange an dein Leben zu ändern, indem du ab JETZT eine andere Entscheidung fällst oder Frieden mit deiner momentanen Situation schließt, weil du es so willst . ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ #sport #healthy #gesund #food #training #diet #healthylifestyle #healthylife #personaltrainer #essen #fitness #gemüse #gym #vegan #lowcarb #keto #weightloss #diät  #abnehmen #lecker #success #ziele #erfolg
