✨✨🥓Fat Washed Caesar and Bloody Mary✨✨✨ - I've seen a lot of fat washing of spirits on the feed lately and decided to try it with Vodka. We serve Caesars and Bloody Mary's at brunch and the bacon fat washed Vodka added a subtle savoury flavour. Plus you get to eat the 🥓. - Cook 8 slices of bacon. Drain the fat into a cup and then pour through a fine sieve or coffee filter into a cup. Let cool slightly. Measure out 1 oz. of the strained fat into a mason jar with 8 oz. of Vodka and let it sit for 12 hours at room temperature shaking occasionally. Then place jar in a freezer over night until the fat solidifies at the top of the jar. Scoop out as much fat as you can and strain through a coffee filter. Now enjoy! Cheers! For the Caesar on the right I ruined the glass with @waltercaesar rimmer. - 2oz. Fat washed vodka. - 4 oz. @waltercaesar mix. - Squeeze of fresh lime juice. - Cracked pepper. - splash of Worcestershire For the Bloody Mary on the left side of photo: I rimmed the glass with Tajin @tajinusaofficial - 2 oz. fat washed vodka. - 4 oz. tomato juice. - .25 oz. of fresh lemon juice. - 3 dashes of Worcestershire - 3 dashes of hot sauce. - 2 tsp. horseradish. - .5 tsp. celery salt (optional).
