  • Audrey was so right... 💗 Paris is always a good idea!

I can’t go wrong when I say that there’s no better moment to visit Paris than spring, with all the cherry blossoms and its magical light ✨ Am I too crazy for wanting to come back next month? I’m craving for more!

  • Sorely missing the wonder and rush I feel when I'm out on my own in new lands!
I will always be a travel-first, content-second kinda girl.

This little family I've built over digital platforms like #Instagram and my #Blog started off with the simple intention of a restless girl who wanted to explore the unfamiliar and share those stories with anyone who was curious. Weaving photographs and stories into an informative whole just happened over time, as I found my voice and my aesthetics and realized that people outside my immediate circle of family and friends enjoyed what I presented.

And that is why I persisted and continued to amp up what I showcased from my trips. Most of last year was purely solo. Barely any fam trips or group trips. Just me, discovering how to travel and create, without letting the latter affect the former.

Influence and being identified as an Influencer came in later. Because I had a skill and I constructed it over time. I kept at it, maintained a certain quality, and insisted that it'd never just be pictures of me shot with someone else's aesthetics.

And that's what I want you to know if you're influenced by the world of Influencers. If you want to be one and if that's your professional goal, I'm happy to be the Grinch and break that bubble right here. That is not something one can ever aim or wish for. No expensive e-book or Guide will ever be able to 'Make you an Influencer', if you don't already have a roaring passion and thirst for bettering your craft. Apart from the creative aspects of it, also come the uninspiring operational tasks of pitching, tracking and cracking insights, budgeting, planning and DOING.

And even then, this world is hella competitive. You can either choose to chase the numbers and crumble under the pressure, or realize that this millennial access to fame and glory will not and need not come to all and sundry. Put yourself and your happiness first. I have immense respect and admiration for so many of my friends who are rocking it in fields of work that aren't as Insta-friendly as mine! And you, more power to you if you're doing what you want to do, far from the spotlight of public fame. ❤️
