Every time I see this picture I think to myself, “boop” 👈🏻. Just because of the way I’m touching her. 😂 .
No, but really, zoom in on those eyes. This was when Everly was maybe 2 hours old! She knew what was going on. She was well aware of her surroundings and she was the strongest and smartest person in that room. Everyone that met her always said how captivating and understanding her eyes were. .
Do you feel like your heart warriors/special needs child knows/knew what is going on? I know we have all had different experiences, but I know I can’t be the only one who felt this way.
If you were here right now, you would probably be asleep.
If you were here right now, I most likely would have checked on you 18 times by now to make sure you were breathing.
If you were here right now, you would probably be used to my fingers running through your hair while you slept. You would also be used to me smooching your cheeks every second of the day.
If you were here right now, I would probably be steaming your Easter Sunday dress for tomorrow.
If you were here right now, I would be enjoying picking out your hair bows for your piggy tails.
If you were here right now, you know your hair bows would match Urban’s bow tie perfectly. 👌🏼 If you were here right now, I would savor every moment watching you enjoy this beautiful holiday.
If you were here right now, I would laugh so hard at all the eggs you skipped, just to get to the one piece of candy you saw in the distance.
If you were here right now, you would never have to wonder how much I love you. .
Baby girl, holidays can be lonely for your family that have to be away from you for so long. We are doing what we can to go on without you, but it’s hard. We know you are having THE BEST Easter celebration with the one we are celebrating, and that gives us some comfort. Can’t wait to see you. Miss you with every part of me, and love you even more. Happy Easter Everly Jo! 💜 your mama.
