  • Today's πŒπ€π’πŠ πŒπŽππƒπ€π˜ features a triple-cleansing technique. I ALWAYSπŸ’¦ double-cleanse (steps 1 + 3), but when I wear a full face or film a tutorial, I triple-cleanse.

My skin is ACNEIC + combo (used to be oily, but since I stopped using drying products & started focusing on hydration, it normalized). .

STEP ➊:
Oil-based cleanser. It's not only best at dissolving make-up & sunscreen, but it more deeply penetrates the skin, dissolving "bad oils" & bacteria that can cause π™—π™§π™šπ™–π™ π™€π™ͺ𝙩𝙨. This is the 2nd jar of @elemis Pro-Collagen done. I use it with @burtsbees micellar cleansing towelettes. .

STEP βž‹:
CleansingπŸ’§water.
Any tiny traces of makeup left, are removed with this. I also ❀️ this at the hairline bc if I'm not washing my hair that night, I don't want a greasy hairline.
I use this in the β˜€οΈmorning as well, instead of faucet πŸ’¦. I know it sounds boojie🍸, but I shared not long ago, how important it is to check how soft (or hard) your water is.

Hard water has minerals like calcium, iron & magnesium that are drying for skin & hair.
When we moved in our new home, my eczema started flaring up, I was breaking out more & the skin was feeling & looking dry & dehydrated.
Hair started breaking out & falling off, it was upsetting!
Come to find out that our πŸ’¦ is one of the hardest in SoCal🌴. We installed an osmosis system which changed everything, but I'm STILL a little afraid & made the decision to not let tap🚰water touch my face in the AM anymore. This @kohgendo product is my lifeline. .

STEP ➌:
Gentle cleanser. The @wander_beauty DRIFT AWAY cleanser is the only foam cleanser that doesn't dry my skin. It's not only gentle, but designed to help nourish skin during the cleansing process. .

For masking I popped open the #elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Gel mask. It made skin tingle & cool. Used it 3x since filming & I believe it helped smoothe out a portion of skin where I was developing some texture.

Hope you got some inspo from this video, happy Monday! 🎡@soulfulxnature -Just Hold Me (ft.Jae) via @hellothematic .
