So I have been fan of the Double Cleanse since i was very young, probably about 13. I would watch my mom apply creams and lotion to her face in order to remove eye makeup and thought hmmm... there’s something to this 🤔 ... fast forward and now Double Cleaning is a trend ( one i completely promote!) In case you don’t know- First, you use an oil-based cleanser or balm to wipe off make up, dirt, pollutants and to break down the sebum of skin. Second, then you use a typical lathering cleanser and water to deeply purify your pores. The cleanse leaves skin feeling soft, but really cleans the skin on a deeper level. ... the product shown is A collaboration with Pixi and Caroline Hirons , skin care blogger extraordinaire. But again you can use any products out there that meet your needs. ( and no the oil balm or product applied first doesn’t harm acne prone skin, it works to help liquify the oil and debris already present ) But as always consult with your Esthetician or Dermatologist for your best acne care plan.
