  • If it “wasn’t so crazy” what are the things you would do? Last summer, I wrote down five things I’d do if I didn’t, society didn’t, my family, friends or anyone I knew didn’t, think it was so crazy to do. We all have something in us that make us get a little more exited when we think about doing them, but don’t have the courage to do because they’re “crazy”, just a side step from “normal” and fitting in. I don’t remember all five things I wrote, but once I wrote them down and gave them a name, they really didn’t really seem that crazy. In fact, they were probably things people did all the time, I just hadn’t done them yet. . . . I think we confuse that word and what it could mean for us. There’s a lot of fear surrounding the things we want because we think we can’t have them or will fail on the attempt to them, or maybe seems too hard to start, so we don’t try in the first place. . . . A lot of times, the first time will be the hardest and worst and messiest and the most off center, but you can’t get good at something you never start in the first place. . . I won’t ask you to tell me what you’d do if it weren’t so crazy, but if you want to, that’d be rad. I just think we should all practice a little more to think outside the box of a narrative that we’ve put onto ourselves. There are so many possibilities to the things we can do, and often times, we just say nah I’ll do it later and then never do it. There’s a relief to admitting the things you want for yourself might not be so crazy after all. #spiritualguidance #spiritualgrowth
