Once overtired, babies often struggle with falling asleep AND staying asleep. 😱😱😱An overtired little one can even appear to have colic-like symptoms!

-Unexpectedly cleaning up the kitchen for one another.
-Getting up with the kids while the other one sleeps.
-Drinking coffee on the couch together before the kids get up.
-Cooking dinner together (or picking up Chick-fil-a together)
-Making each other belly laugh.
-Always assuming the best in one another.

  • It's TUMMY TIME!
WHY is it necessary and what do you do if you have a TUMMY TIME HATER?
-
Tummy Time:
➡️helps to strengthen the neck and back
➡️allows for muscle stretching and mobility
➡️reduces the chance of plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome)
➡️encourages developmental milestones like rolling and crawling

What do you do if your baby just isn't having it?
💡 Understand that haters CAN learn to enjoy tummy time.
💡 Begin in the first days of your baby’s life or TODAY (It’s never too late to begin!).
💡Start slowly. Even 20-60 seconds at a time is great.
💡Make it a no-cry experience.
💡Practice for as long as your little one tolerates and then try again later.
💡Do it multiple times a day.
💡Start with laying your baby on your chest or across your lap.
💡Get down on the floor with your baby so you can see eye-to-eye. Sing, smile, and talk.
💡Use a boppy or rolled blanket to prop your little one up a bit.
💡Place toys or books close enough for your baby to see.
💡Find a non-breakable mirror as babies love their own reflection.
💡Don’t let it cause you stress. Make it fun. If today didn’t have much tummy time, try for more tomorrow.

When to do tummy time:
✅When baby is awake
✅Before and after diaper changes
✅When you are supervising baby 100%

When NOT to do tummy time:
❌In the first 10-15 minutes following a feeding. (Unless it’s upright on your chest as you are slightly reclined. This is a great option... esp for reflux babies.)
❌While baby is sleeping. Back is best for sleeping until baby can purposely roll. If baby falls asleep during tummy time, please roll her to her back.

Tengo que decir que esto ha sido demasiado rápido y raro para mi😊 pero hermosamente maravilloso, los cambios que está teniendo mi cuerpo y las hormonas bailando por todos lados ha sido la mejor experiencia de mi vida, aunque no para todas las personas a mi alrededor 😂😂 ya saben los cambios de humor la bipolaridad... en verdad, si era consentida antes ahora me encanta la atención 🥰tengo que confesar que amo estar embarazada no dejo de pensar en cómo será mi bebé?.que no hice tan bien esos meses en los que no sabía nada😳 ohhh Dios solo quiero que nazca sanit@ mi cabeza está llena de incertidumbre y al mismo tiempo parezco una súper nerd leyendo cada cosa para aprender esta nueva etapa que se nos viene, en verdad ya quiero conocerlo pero al mismo tiempo quiero tenerlo más tiempo dentro de mi, creo que he pasado mucho tiempo sin saberlo y la verdad es que quiero disfrutarlo al máximo!❤️🥰

  • YOUR EYES SHOW THE STRENGHT OF YOUR SOUL .

Dette, det jeg nå er i gang med, er det jeg har jeg drømt om i over 2 år. Jeg har lagt planer, satt mål, kastet alt, lagd nye, kjempet og slåss, med en kropp som har vært min bitreste uvenn... Men så fort jeg begynte å samarbeide og godta at med utbrent kropp, så var det bare en ting å gjøre. Bruke god tid, og en dag, EN DAG skulle jeg komme tilbake igjen! .
De siste 2 mnd har jeg testet og utfordret meg, spist på litt underskudd i korte perioder, kjørt på med nytt program og ny pt, med økter jeg drømte om å mestre igjen... at jeg blir sliten, ja, så inn i helvete også.. Men sliten som at jeg har brukt kroppen, ikke for at batteriet er ødelagt/tomt. .
Jeg vet jeg må være forsiktig, for mange som en gang har møtt veggen møter den igjen. Men jeg har lært enormt mye! Jeg tror og håper jeg skal være en av de som klarer å unngå å gå så langt ned i kjelleren igjen. Den reisen jeg har vært igjennom, glemmer jeg nok aldri. Men den skal heller ikke hemme meg, skremme meg, fra å leve det livet jeg liker og ønsker. .
De neste 12 uker skal jeg jobbe med noen av mine største mål. Helsen i hovedfokus, men utfordre meg, viljestyrken og kroppen maks. ENDELIG! .
LET THE FUN BEGiN! For det er så viktig å huske: dette er for moro skyld🙌❤️ .
