“Sinatra was king at the Sands; he was Vegas. He owned a piece of the hotel and made sure that all the best talent, like Nat Cole, Dean Martin, Lena Horne, Sammy Davis, played and stayed there. Listen, everyone in town was glad when Frank was performing there, from the cabdrivers to the bell hops: he filled the rooms and all the hotels. The Sands slogan was “A Place in the Sun and it was in more ways than one.“- Al Viola ➿🇮🇹

Due to the many questions I got I'll make another post about the topic: wearing skirts daily. Many asked how I do that and why. I already said it: it's far more comfortable for me. It's not that I don't like trousers, no, but they aren't as comfortable for me. And I can do anything in a skirt than people wearing trousers can. Except maybe a few things.
For example yesterday. I wore a quite long skirt with a petticoat which falls just above my ankles, and I helped my father fell the trees in front of our house. I even climbed up a ladder, cut the wood and put the branches together. Everything in my beloved skirt and I managed without problems. The only time I'm not wearing them is for my sport activities, while sleeping and when I go to a club once a month with my friends (or when going into the woods searching for mushrooms). But otherwise. I'm not cold in winter (you just have to know how to layer your clothes), I'm not in some religious group and I don't hate trousers. I just feel more comfortable and groomed in a skirt than in sweatpants. .
Now thanks for having the patience to read it until here. It's very much appreciated. So until next time when I'll finally post my next episode in fashion history: the 1940s.

I just wanted to say this was a dream of mine and it came true! I like to think this dress was Midge approved.
