  • Honestly, CrossFit is hard. And at first you’re so eager to do everything, but so disappointed and frustrated when you can’t. Finally, in my 4th open and after THREE years I can do bar muscle ups in the open!!! (YAY🎉) So, CrossFit takes time. And everyone learns at their own pace. Remember, not to compare/judge yourself to those around you. I find this hard to do at @peak360fitness, where literally everyone is such a #badass athlete. It’s inspiring but also makes me compare myself to others a bit too much at times. We are all at different points in our fitness journey, but what matters most is that you’re improving and working hard towards being better than the day before. 
Had so much fun at #FridayNightLights and watching everyone absolutely crush it. 💛🕺🏼🦄

  • Flexibility may not be the most exciting part of your working out, but doing flexibility work is just as important for a well rounded fitness routines as strength and cardio work. 
Stretching is a big part of my pre and post workout routine. It ensures I have a better range of motion and mobility 
Regular Stretching provides so many benefits. Some include:
🧘🏽‍♀️Increases flexibility
🧘🏽‍♀️Increases your range of motion
🧘🏽‍♀️Increases blood flow to your muscles
🧘🏽‍♀️Improves your posture

It can be as simple as adding an additional 10 to 15 minutes to your workout.
