On the weekends we have been house hunting! 💭 We hope to be in a new space before Baby V’s arrival 🤞🏼 and I’ve got a huge Wishlist of saved furniture pieces ready for when we find the perfect abode.... BUT they are all white or cream or ivory or beige 🍦🍦🍦🍦 Someone please explain to me why I didn’t enjoy light furniture before deciding to add a new little addition to our lives 💭 “My kid will be perfectly clean, and an all white interior will be fine” — said every single mother before they gave birth. Haha. Im curious... what’s the ONE thing you said/thought that most definitely won’t happen BEFORE having a child, and now you laugh at.... 🙊Ps. The most dreammmmmy interior inspo via @faithjkim

So confession, I’ve been slacking at the gym. HARD. Making a baby is harder than I thought guys. I’ve also started to get depressed when I step on a scale during my very frequent doctors appointments. I am the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life. But I’m also the HAPPIEST. My body is healthy and my baby is healthy 💕 I can’t wait to share my postpartum journey with you all in early 2020.
Labor tip no. 101: you gotta keep going because where you’re at now is the end of where you were and the beginning of where you’ll be next. Or something like that. I mean, look, as I drove 80 mph through the desert 🐫and breathed in the dusty dry air, knowing where I was going (back to the balmy greenness of Long Beach), I thought of the folks who had traveled west across this country on foot or horse or stagecoach. They didn’t have the benefit of the Internet to show them where they were headed and what lay ahead. They had only stories and promises of those who had traveled before them - maybe. Certainly, some people were the FIRST to traverse this land and faith was the only thing moving them along.
If after traveling 1600 miles, they stopped once they got to the desert because they felt they couldn’t go on and lost hope based on the horror they currently found themselves in, they would have missed out on all that is SoCal! And why stop now? You made it over the Rockies! Surely you can tackle 114 degree heat, burning, caked ground, rattle snakes, and jumping cacti. Keep going! You think you can’t, but you already HAVE! •
So basically this is a huge metaphor for labor and that God forsaken desert is absolutely transition, yo. •
(QS. Al- Mu'Minun, 12-14)
Semoga rahimku memberikan kehidupan yg layak untukmu duhai buah hatiku 😍😘 #22weekspregnant
||22 weeks|| I cant believe we are on the downhill slide until we can meet this little lady! We’re so excited!! I’m feeling so blessed today. Blessed that we’re pregnant, without any complications (knock on wood), blessed that our IVF worked out this time, and blessed that this little lady was so worth the wait!

~I literally do not get dressed or put on make up most days until the afternoon, if at all. It’s not always a first choice but, ya know, life.
~I’m late to like...everything.
~I’m rather forgetful at times, and it’s screwed me over and made me a little irresponsible before.
~ My make up is almost always a day or two old. And I always just paint over my old nail polish instead of taking it off.
~Small talk is not my forte! In fact, it make me a little anxious sometimes.
The other day I found myself comparing a little too much, and with all the wonderful things social media brings it can also bring just that: a lot of comparison.
I see a lot of uplifting posts that tell the reader they are beautiful and strong, and that’s a great thing to share! But personally, if I’m rreeeaallyyy down, posts like that aren’t always going to help me.
So instead of sharing a lovely picture to talk about how lovely we all are I’m sharing a real dorky picture with a few not so lovely or perfect facts about me, just so we realize we’re all on the same page (and trust me, there are a lot more I could share).
Feel free to let me know I’m not alone in the comments ⬇️
I don’t even know the last time I did my hair and makeup. Feeling like a new mama .🙌🏼
Also feeling like this bump is out of control. 18 more weeks and not sure how much bigger this belly can get .
HAPPY SHOWER DAY TO MIKA AND JAMES 💗

Put your insecurities away and get on with achieving your goals, reflect and remind yourself that an accurate criticism is the most valuable feedback you can receive.
We’re a baby company however, we too struggle, to take feedback at times. Given our social platform, we felt compelled to share some motivation to all our current and future “mothers business owners” —Emacity Shop

Success in business isn't a matter of tricks and gimmicks or even education and training it's just a matter of simple common sense mixed with just plain decency.

customers needs are what gets our attention. Emacity believes that in a hyper-competitive world (from competitors known and unknown), the best strategy – both offensive and defensive – is to give the customer more: something better, faster or more efficiently. We are always on a quest to improve our products and services, and, for the most part, this is done with enhancements in design and through the continual training of our people. Most fundamental of all is doing the right thing for our customers – in all cases. —Emacity Shop

Tip #24 — Guard your dinner time. As your kids get older this gets more and more and more challenging. The schedules fill up, time is tight, and pretty soon the dinner around the table is lost. Work on reclaiming the time around the table. This is a time where you solidify and celebrate family. Make it a goal to have a certain number of family dinners each week.
Image all the growth that comes from family dinners? Just think about the act of exchanging dialogue amongst family (siblings and parents) — and the impact of how it truly transforms how your children view life. By that, we mean, teaching children how important it is to share ideas, accomplishments, challenges and daily stressors(before those stressors’ become big problems). These moments of dialogue develop your children’s communication skills, openness to give and receive feedback, and most importantly, develop deepen relationships within the family.
Are we wrong? Should family dinners just be for eating? Are family dinners outdated?
