Seems fitting that this amazing photo by @ovtrvn is the first photo that officially welcomes the 71 Chevelle to my IG page! If you've seen this thing in my stories you know that @the_man_karious got this car for me and we began a joint project on it. It's from Arizona and belonged to the sellers grandparents! Unfortunately the car had been in an accident on the passenger side and was parked in the seller's yard for years. He saw that Evan had a four door 72, and reached out offering to sell us this four door 71. We got the car and began a two week constant hustle to fix it that included body work (not quite done with that) a new engine, three master cylinders, eight carburetors, two wheel cylinder, three distributors, and an ignition bypass. Now, the car runs and drives like a dream and is a great little cruiser. We'll keep working to fix her up. The next update will feature her being all one color (with a very cool color scheme if I do say so myself) and potentially another rowdier engine. For now, we've named her the Black Eye in honor of the bruise she got from the accident. To see everything that happened to the car, check out my story highlights on it. Huge thanks to @the_man_karious and @project.celica for helping wrench on her. 🔧
I am constantly and consistently blown away by the talent and quality in @ovtrvn's photography. His photos and edits are unreal. Thank you for these shots, I can't wait to post the rest of this series! 🦌
You know there’s a lot of hate on sideshows, and I understand the hate because they’re illegal and have been dangerous lately. However, never once in my life have I seen so many different types of people come together for one thing, to watch the show. That’s the way it should be!
