Sometimes being a good parent is letting your children make decisions of their own. Nora has been wanting to wear these hoop earrings for a while now, and I thought they might be too big and attract too much attention but the thing I love the most about Nora is that she knows what she likes and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks... even with this sweater she is somewhat expressing herself as an individual. Boys in her school always tell her that “gaming stuff is for boys only” and she still rocks her gamer stuff with out a care in the world and tells them “girls can be gamers too”. Isn’t it ironic how I’m the one who raised her but she is the one who has helped me build my confidence. Continue being yourself baby girl, and I’ll be right behind you supporting you❤️ #SelfConfidence#SelfLove#4thGrader#GamerGirl#SuperMarioWorld
Did you know that 4th graders can get a FREE federal park pass? 🌳 .
I see some awesome adventures in our future! 🚗 .
Especially because I’m going to have a 4th grader every other year for a decade. 🤣
Even though he didn’t win Vice President of his school (opponent who won promised Karaoke and dance competitions at lunch, obviously what’s truly important to kids 🙄) he still has the best mindset and wants to run again next year. And though I really wanted to say, “maybe next year you should make false promises like most politicians and promise a chocolate fountain at lunch” I was inclined not too. Im proud of his promises he made and will continue to educate my children what truly matters. WE MUST teach our children to care and love for our planet and the people and creatures that reside here. In the end, thats what truly matters. Love. And I sure do love this kid. 💕 #oldestson#9yearsold
