I hate being thrown into this new generation as if I didn't grow up in these times. Scientists have called the 70s-80s babies "Xennials" aka Oregon Trail generation.. grew up without all this technology and entitlement, but as young adults grew with the development of the technology. #Xennialfridays
This made me laugh WAY too hard. 😂 Alex and I had a good #reminiscing chat about how our kids won’t ever have to walk up to the front of the class, or to the door, or teachers desk to sharpen their pencils with this thing that was screwed into the wall or desk over the trash can 🤣 I mean, why didn’t we have little pencil sharpeners of our own? Were they seriously not invented yet?! 😂😂😂 #ifeelold#oldschool#80sbaby#theywontknow#ancient#memories
This is me and my mum, I'm probably about 3 or 4. I love this photo. I'm paying mum zero attention at this moment but the way she looks at me says everything.
Ten years ago today it was mother's day, my sisters and I were gathered around her bedside with my father and my boyfriend. There was laughter and happiness, love and support. We were reminiscing over old photo albums and sharing memories together as she took her last breath. I am so grateful for that day. I wish I could go back and do things better, I wasn't there enough while she was ill. It was how I coped at the time. But I like to think that she'd be proud of what I've done since. I've made mistakes and I'm not perfect but I've got two beautiful boys that I love beyond anything, I work hard and I'm chasing my dreams.
There are plenty of people wishing for exactly what you have to offer. Make sure you’re present for your opportunity and not somewhere still daydreaming about manifesting your desires. Get in your lane and thrive. @intentionalmillennial
Ahh yah Anita Baker type vibez this night. Makes ya reflect. Words sung to a Lover, Yes... But also to Yourself! My Oumou Sangare of the West. My type of Love Indeed. I demand the same in kind. True words... #nuffsaid
After watching Night Dawn & Day Of The Dead, Predator, Ghostbusters, Mortal Kombat, Congo, Bill And Ted 1 & 2, Point Break, Commando, Walker Texas Ranger, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Martin, The Wayans Brothers, The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, Step By Step, Full House, Family Matters, WWE and countless other shows and movies, my childhood and college dreams were big yet simple. Move to California, meet some people, convince some people to pay me and make some movies. Back then I didn’t know much, if anything, about developing, funding, producing, editing, shopping, distributing & marketing projects. Now, after recently completing my 2nd feature film, I’m meditating while trying not to be consumed by the thought of “okay that was cool, now wtf I’m supposed to do next??” as I have so many more dreams and ideas that unfortunately all cost a minimum of $100K 💰 to pull off. Perhaps this is the feeling @aaronrodgers12 described after he achieved the dream of winning his 1st Super-Bowl. Either way, I remain chilly and every time you watch anything that I played a role in, you’re supporting the hopes and dreams of this cool ass lil kid 🧒🏾🤙🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #tbt#fbf#80sbaby#90skid#90skids#1992#artistlife#writerslife#producerlife#filmmaker#entrepreneurlife#nowwhat#whatsnext#ontothenextone#coolkids#coolkid#cool#chilly#nineties#the90s#90sfashion#mostexcellent#excellent#childhood#childhoodmemories#dream#dreambig#goforit#justdoit#dreamcrazy
I originally seen this chain in the ICE-T “New Jack Hustler” video . (Your welcome in Advance.) We tend to glorify the unknown or out of reach , when in reality sometimes our hero’s live right across the street from us ... Inspire Someone when and however you can. #80sBaby#EastSanDiego
Mom sent me this a few months ago. I actually remember taking this, being so excited to get to wear my tie for picture day. 🤩
Crazy how so much can change in life between ages 8 and 33. ⏳
We grow older 👶🏿👦🏿🤵🏿, go to college 📚🎒, travel ✈️🌎, get into relationships 👫, start our families 👨👩👧👦, careers 👔 and businesses👨🏿💼. Adult-ing can take it's toll 🤦🏿♂️, and life might just smack the mess out of us a few times 🥴. But one thing we must remember... Is who and what we wanted to be when we grew up. 💭 👮🏿♂️👨🏿🚒👨🏿🍳👨🏿🏫🕵🏿♂️👨🏿🚀👨🏿✈️👨🏿⚖️👩🏿🔬👨🏿🎨🤴🏿🦸🏿♂️🦹🏿♂️🦄🧜🏿♂️ We all get a chance to realize our "BIG Dream" in our lifetime... Well, maybe not the Unicorn or Merman/Mermaid. 😂
We just have to take advantage of an opportunity of a lifetime in the lifetime of the opportunity. 💯
Never forget that, and keep believing in the positive possibilities. 🙃
I have always wanted one of these (since I found out they existed 3 weeks ago). The Virtual Boy is a 32-bit console released by Nintendo in 1995 before they started devoting their resources to the upcoming N64. It was the first console capable of displaying stereoscopic 3D graphics and an early attempt at virtual reality. Only 22 games were ever released for the system. It sold only 800,000 units worldwide, and was considered a commercial failure for multiple reasons. All games were single player and it lacked any social element, many players complained of feelings headaches and nausea from extended play, and it didn't have a color display which affected its ability to create an immersive experience. It also had a high price especially compared to the Gameboy they offered, no true portability, no tracking (movement of image as player moves their head), and it was a bit awkward to use in general. At the same time, it was praised for its novelty, sharp display and graphics, and some games people actually loved. This VB works and the games I have for it are Mario Clash, Wario Land, Mario Tennis, Galactic Pinball, Red Alarm, Panic Bomber and Teleroboxer.
