  • Let's dream about beautiful places in the world! 🌎 Where do you want to travel? I would like to visit USA. Texas, and Arizona mostly. But Italy, Norway is on my list too, Trolltunga is so beautiful. 🤯

  • Les Variations was a heavy rock band from the 1960s until the mid 1970s. It constituted of Jo Lebb as a vocalist, Marc Tobaly with the guitar, Jacques [Petit Pois] Grande with the bass and Jacky Bitton as the drummer. Besides the drummer, who was of Italian origins, the three members, Marc, Jacques and Jacky were Moroccan Jews. Born in Morocco with Jewish origins.

Les Variations was formed in 1966 by Marc Tobaly's older brother Alain, who became the band's manager. After they signed with a French music label, the band released several albums such as Moroccan Roll (1974) and Café de Paris (1975). These two classics were mainly characterised by a combination of Jewish sephardic and North African cultural elements. This fusion has made itself a value under the name of Moroccanroll music (Pronounced More rock’n’roll).
Les Variations were the first and certainly one of the best known rock groups of France, largely in part to their commercial record success, their sold out concerts and television performances, their significant media coverage, and their unique position of being the first French (because they signed with a French label) rock band to tour America, to sign with an American label and eventually pioneer a new style of rock music over their decade-long existence

Les Variations -Nador (1969)
