Well, I visited Dr. Song at @southcoast_vet_hospital yesterday and found out that I have tracheobronchitis! 🤒 I probably sniffed or licked something I shouldn’t have at the dog park. So it’s antibiotics & rest for me for the next few days! 😷😴 #adognamedkora
I ran across this picture of Bandit on my phone. He was my dads dog who passed away a year ago(dad was convinced it was a tick treatment that did him in, please beware what you give your pets but he was like 15 years old so we cant really say !!!). He was a teddy bear and loved to play and be dopey but also fought off a badger a few years ago so he had a bad ass side. Miss this doofus #bandit#acd#cattledog#australiancattledog#doofus#northdakota#doggo
Two very good boys at their annual health exams today 🥰
Jet was an absolute mush and suckered the tech into petting him the whole time. Ranger growled once at her (new tech, he hadn’t met her yet) but was absolutely perfect for his exam. Don’t mind his foot, he ran too hard on some asphalt the other night. We had staff filter in and out of the exam room to say hi to them (I like to think they were saying hi to me too, but let’s be real 😆) and both dogs were in heaven. It’s amazing what 2 years of consistent practice and training can do for a reactive dog 🙂 Minor detail, they are 100% healthy at this time! This is why, even though I work at a vet and know my dogs are pretty healthy, I still have them examined at least once a year by a licensed veterinarian. She checks their eyes, teeth, joints, abdomen, ears, skin, heart, lungs, and neural functions. This is how we catch health issues early on and are able to treat them. If you can’t remember the last time your dog went to the vet, maybe make an appointment and get them in. Even if everything is normal, it’s worth the money and time.

Welcome home CHEATER!
Learning to be decent people when someone unexpectedly comes to the door. This is an important part of Bucky’s training as a #servicedog because #cattledogs can be territorial! We have lots of kids coming in and out each week. He has to sit quietly until I release him to say hi! Cody is helping 🥰. #sdit#acd#dogtraining#diabeticalertdog
