A lake is the landscape’s most beautiful and expressive feature. It is earth’s eye; looking into which the beholder measures the depth of his own nature.

Happiest of birthdays to this beautiful soul. Beyond blessed to have the universe bring your love to me. May others be as lucky as I am to have a partner like you to go through this crazy journey we call life. •
Imposing and unspoilt, with fantastic natural scenery, the mountain of Musandam is an extraordinary place to visit and explore. From the 'Roof of the World' to the 'Mountain of women' this is a magical place. This place is often described as the 'fjords of Arabia.' The mountains plunge into the straits of Hormuz. Many people come here to go on a Dhow cruise to catch a glimpse of the dolphins and snorkel off Telegraph island.
Once you leave Abu Dhabi and hit the highway the driving is fairly straightforward. As you enter RAK the scenery becomes more dramatic. The drive to Musandam is a spectacular one. Once you cross the border and pass the oil refinery steep cliffs greet you on the right and amazing turquoise seas of the Arabian Gulf are on the right. As you meander and navigate the steep road you will pass picturesque towns, fishing villages, small ports an impressive mosque and a fort high up on the hillside.
As you enter Khasab you will pass through a few roundabouts and shell garage (best to fill up there before you head into the mountains.) LuLu, the supermarket is located in the town past the fort so last minute provisions can be bought here.
Once past the Khasab airport, you will travel deep into the mountains and I promise you that it is going to be a journey not to missed.
You will get a glimpse of deep gorges, dramatic valleys, and rocky gorges. Once at the summit of Jebel Harim, you will get a bird’s eye view of the Hajar range. It is phenomenal and truly breathtaking. What’s more, you can find rocks up there that are studded with marvellously preserved fossils which include ancient seafaring creatures like fish, clams, and several trilobites.
Apart from Jebel Harim, we visited the renowned village of Sayh a stunning Bedouin community that’s more than 1000 meters above sea level. It is a very serene, small place located on a plateau. This is a great place to stop and each lunch.
Our first overnight camp was about 4km from here. It is a perfect camping spot. #Oman#camping#adventure#off -roading #4X4#Jeep#travel#mountains#musandam#tourist#instagram#dji#djidrones#djispark#djimaci2pro#instagood#igers#photography
Everyday, in one way or another.; I'm reminded how having just one strong, solid friendship can change everything.
We had a beer the other night and a camera guy came up to us and chatted, when he found out we'd been best friends for nearly 10 years his reaction shook me a bit. He said "wow, I wish to have a friend for that long, someone who knows me" and it hit my heart... Some people wish for things or circumstances that I have in my life. I thank God for the day he sent you dancing onto my path to 80's rock. Because since then, you've been my rock❤️ @manyamk -
