Yesterday we checked off a major spot on our “Travel-to-Go” list. I’ve dreamt of going to Big Sur since I decided I wanted to live the Marissa Cooper life in the OC. (Before she got into all the bad stuff of course 😅) We could have and should have spent so much more time here. It was truly everything and more so we’ll be back one day! But today is about my husband. Thank you for always making me laugh, for being my travel partner, my photography sidekick, the best dad to our smooshie and most of all just being you. Happy two years! Cheers to so many more adventures, awkward selfies, photographs and smooshie snuggles. 🥰💕🐾✌🏼🌊 Off to the last part of our Northern California trip: Yosemite ! 🚗💨⛰
How personable are our corporate? They HAND WRIT a letter to Daniel & I to personally congratulate us on qualifying for our 8th Annual Vacation 🥰🤭
&&&& sent us 💳💳💳💵 One thing I was really seeking in my work life was RECOGNITION ➕ APPRECIATION 🙏🏼 This company and the people do it the best 🥰👑🙏🏼 #thankful#appreciationpost#grateful
The Highlights of the Museum tour, takes us through the key galleries and display of the Museum. If we begin our day with this tour, it would help to plan the rest of the itinerary to watch the rest of the galleries .
1. The golden arch at the entrance.
2 and 3. The dinosaur display in the Great Hall.
4. A display of world map which is made of junk items like beer bottle caps and elastic bands. It has started sagging due to years of wear and tear.
5. A replication and reconstruction of an Egyptian hieroglyphics wall
6 and 7. Paintings of Niagara Falls and Horseshoe falls in 1800s
Finally, it was time to head to the museum!! Museums are one of the best ways to understand the local history of the place. I love walking through them.
I could not visit all the stalls of this museum, but I was lucky to be part of their free tours. One such your was the Gems and Jewel tours. We had explored the beautiful display of
1. A million dollar with gold coin. It is one of the 3 pieces made in the world
2. A diamond with almost 100 carat clarity . It is very delicate!!😍 3 and 4. The jewellery owned by one of the richest families in Toronto city. It was donated to museum .
5. Emeralds of different clarity. My birthstone !!! 😊
6. Yes sapphires can be red 💁
7. Blue Sapphires.
8. A display of naturally formed quartz .
GUYS, land legs. Land. Freaking. Legs. Did you know that was even a thing?! After four days on a house boat to ring in the Fourth, we’re unpacking our bags with the sensation of our bodies still rocking on the water. It’s the strangest thing.

There is also a maze in the Center island. It is fun to find your way through a real live maze, Unfortunately, I got lost so many times 😌😌😌. And still did not find my way out the other end🤷🤷🤷 #day6intoronto #latepost
