#SoothingSheetMask — Why? It's because the purpose of Sheet Mask is giving extra moisturizing and soothing. I'm skeptical of other claims in the one-use product. So if it claims to brighten your skin, it doesn't mean you can get the dramatical brightening effect in one use.
The sheet itself was a bomb! It's very thin and looks like a second skin. Made from 100% Cotton that is less irritative. Good news, it won't easily rip. They adhere really nicely to the skin. However, the essence is likely to trickle down. It was like it doesn't perfectly absorbent.
Yeah, this product is formulated with Niacinamide and Vit. C derivative to treat your pigmentation or dull skin. It also includes a lot of humectants and rich plant extracts. There's a very faint pleasant scent from Peppermint Oil and Fragrance. So be aware if you're sensitive to fragrance.
The essence has a viscous texture that melts into water. So so lightweight! Fast absorbing and doesn't feel sticky at all. Hydrates and refreshes my oily skin enough. It becomes smooth, supple, and plumpy! I still can add a moisturizer to lock in hydration that was given from this. Peppermint Oil in it gives a slight cooling sensation that can effectively cool down the skin temperature and relieve the redness. I recommend you to use it after exfoliating product!

My very first Drunk Elephant products, and of course I had to pick up this set because of the cult favourite C-Firma. I absolutely love their vibrant and fun packagings! Each trial product comes in a 5ml opaque airless pump.

This is 15% LAA. Has a thick light orange liquid consistency. I find it very hard to spread due to its thickness and leaves a really tacky finish on my skin. I also get that sweaty heavy feeling around my mouth area. No tingling sensation experienced.

💦 B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum
Has a medium weight emulsion-like consistency. This is suppose to boost hydration but I don’t find it to be that hydrating at all for my skin.

I just couldn’t get along with C-Firms tackiness and B-Hydra’s mediocre hydration, so I started mixing these two together for better application. At first I saw quick results, my PIH lightened very fast.... but after a while I started noticing I would get these tiny tiny whitehead bumps around my smile lines and chin, while other parts of my face are totally fine. It is so weird because I’ve never had those before, and this duo were the only new things I added at that time.

When I stopped using them, the bumps would gradually disappear. Then I started using them again and tried my best to avoid the smile lines and chin area. Sometimes I could get away with it but I guess it’s not easy to avoid so the bumps would reappear. Such a hassle to use when I need to cautiously avoid certain face areas.

I’m not sure exactly whether C-Firma or B-Hydra was causing this, but I’m not bothered to find out. Apart from the bumps, I quite enjoyed the combination of this duo (but not on its own) as it helped to lightened PIH pretty fast. Glad I got to try these out. Don’t be fooled by the size though, because I used one pump of each product for every other day and it lasted me almost 5 months, which I find an amazing value for money.
