  • This brave Bangladeshi teenager, Nusrat, reported her headmaster for groping her. The police humiliated her by releasing her testimony, and supporters of the headmaster then tried to force her to recant. When she refused, they burned her to death. In the ambulance, she recorded on a phone a final video statement implicating her attackers and saying: “I will fight this crime til my last breath.” And she did. Nusrat was a hero. RIP. #Bangladesh #violence #violenceagainstwomen
