JOLLY RANCHER STRAWS:⠀⠀⠀⠀
24 Jolly Ranchers, assorted colors⠀⠀⠀⠀
Wooden skewers⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀
BACON STRAWS:⠀⠀⠀⠀
6 strips thick sliced bacon⠀⠀⠀⠀
Wooden skewers⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀
COOKIE STRAWS: ⠀⠀⠀⠀
4 egg whites⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 cup sugar⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 cup all-purpose flour⠀⠀⠀⠀
Pinch of salt⠀⠀⠀⠀
5 tablespoons butter⠀⠀⠀⠀
3 tablespoons heavy cream⠀⠀⠀⠀
1/2 teaspoon vanilla⠀⠀⠀⠀
Wooden skewers or straws⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀
STEPS: ⠀⠀⠀⠀
For the jolly rancher straws - Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with a silicone mat.⠀⠀⠀⠀
Place 4 Jolly Ranchers in a row on prepared baking sheet. Bake until the candy is melted and bubbling all the way to the center, about 2 minutes. Remove from the oven and smooth out the bubbles with a spoon or spatula. Make sure it is cool enough to touch, and quickly roll it onto a greased skewer. Slide off and lay seam side down to cool.⠀⠀⠀⠀
For the bacon straws - Wrap slices of bacon around wooden skewers in a spiral, being sure to overlap the edges on each round. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool.⠀⠀⠀⠀
For the cookie straws - Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with a silicone mat.⠀⠀⠀⠀
In a medium bowl, beat egg whites and sugar until fluffy. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.⠀⠀⠀⠀
Drop a teaspoon of the batter on prepared baking sheet and spread to a thin 3 inch by 7-inch rectangle using an offset spatula. Bake for 4 to 6 minutes or until the edges just start to brown. Quickly roll the cookie onto a straw or skewer and lay seam-side down until cool. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

Fill a Collins glass with ice, then pour over syrup, liqueur, and lemon. Top with sparkling water, then float gin and bitters on top. Stir gently to combine before sipping. Garnish with love!

60ml Rosemary/Mugwort/Wormwood infused Copperhead Gin⠀
20ml Peterman Cuberdon Jenever Liqueur⠀
15ml heath and heather Nettle Tea, Fennel & Sage Syrup (100ml water + same amount of sugar), half tspn fennel seeds, + 6 large sage leaves. Bring water & sugar to simmer, add nettle tea & fennel after 4 minutes, after 7 add the sage, leave simmering for 1 min then remove from heat & leave to infuse for 30mins⠀
80ml Fevertree Elderflower Tonic⠀
Chocolate MsBettersBitters⠀
Combine all (except tonic) with ice, stir 30secs, add to ice filled Gats Hi-Ball glass, top with tonic, sip back and enjoy!⠀
