It's been a lovely summer so far and one of my favourite things about the holidays is always the amount of reading I get done. Which book have you enjoyed most this summer? I absolutely loved Ghostwall which I picked up on a whim - love it when that happens!
hello, hello starry people. ✨ I had to repost this because... there was a typo in the picture. and... I just couldn’t. I couldn’t let it be there. sorry! if you commented before, just know I did see/appreciate it 😊
(I know it isn’t yet October but this Anne of Green Gables quote is so fitting, hah.)
I just love taking Instagram breaks. they’re always refreshing, especially when one’s mental health is being all sorts of weird. 🙂 but on another note, have you guys heard about what’s happening to Brazil’s amazon rainforest? it is an immensely important thing. sure, it may only affect 20% of the Earth’s oxygen but that’s just it—it affects TWENTY FREAKING PERCENT of the world WE live in. please make sure to pick up any littered trash you see, never ever throw plastic or any trash in the oceans, and if you can, raise awareness about this dire situation. since this isn’t being covered widely in the media, through raising awareness on stories/posts, the person you reach reaches another person who reaches another person, and so, even that is enough to help in some way. and help we should. they don’t call it the planet’s lungs for nothin’ x 🌲🌱🌿🍃🌴🌳 #prayfortheamazon
what’s something you do to make a positive impact on our world/earth? whether it be small or big, it all matters. ✨

How far ahead do you plan your TBR list? Or do you wait until you’ve finished a book to choose your next one?
My busy bedside table and me. After all, why take out just one book to read?
Pictured here from right to left; two of my writing journals, the complete black one almost inched out of instagrams square crop, Linchpin by Seth Godin, my WIP (viridian) Moleskine, We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal, the corner of my memo board, my beloved Kindle, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and Rich Dad's Conspiracy of the Rich.
So much happening in one tiny square.
Disclaimer: i don't book hop. I just need them within arms reach so my other hobbies dont claim me in distraction 😂

Do you like having things hanging on the walls where you live? Is it art, shelves, or do you like them bare?
Hey friends! Happy almost-end-of-the-week! 😅 can you tell that I am excited for the weekend!? It has been such a long week. But it's only going to get busier at work, so here we go...
I know this question is totally random, but I saw @coffeeandprose question on her recent post and it actually really got me thinking! I LOVE to have art and photos and shelves all over my walls. I actually don't have a lot of wall space left in one room 😅 but my friend has literally nothing on her walls - no coloured paint, no art, no shelves. I am all about the colour so I have such a hard time!! I love painting walls too so I am always itching to do a feature wall 😂🙈 I always find it so interesting how we make a place our own!
P.S. spot the mini @timelessprintsca candle, and the mini photo frame with a photo I took in Barcelona almost 5 years ago - insane! 💜 that's all I've got for today! My brain is fried 😂

Book 47. Books that jump around in a timeline can be confusing, but this really works. You know how his friendship ends, but you don't know how they got there. It's beautifully written.
When the local librarian says, “Come get some free books” you go get some free books! I lucked out with these 5! I’ve read Skipping Christmas & Her Fearful Symmetry, but I love owning good copies of books I love, so home with me they came. I actually just put a copy of Her Fearful Symmetry into a LFL by accident & I’m kind of glad because I had a good excuse to grab this GORGEOUS copy today! I kind of wish Portrait of a Racist had a dust jacket but I’ve wanted to read it for a while now so I grabbed it anyway, and the other two just look really good. My TBR list just got 4 books longer! 😂😅 #booknerd#bookstagram#bibliophile#librariesrock#tbr

I have finished 0 books this month so far, oops. I'm hoping to get at least 1 read before the end of the month next week. School has made me hella tired. I think tomorrow when I get off of school at lunch I'll read a bit. Ack. It's only going to more stressful from here.
Favorite stand alone?

Book : Art in sorrows : A Collection Of Poems
Author : Ayodeji Melefa
Publication : BookRix
Published on : 19 jan 2017 ( Get in free on Kindle today ) .
These 22 pages is a collection of poems, cuts across love, romance, heartbreak, relationships, secret admirations and death. It is an invitation to the thoughts . These poems will provide a deeper insight over these emotions and will help to rediscover them . ..............
My favourite among all the poems :
" Perfect "
We are all born
We are all created
We are all formed
We are all art
Art is made perfectly
And every alteration in art is part of the master's design
We are all born
We are all created
We are all art
We are all perfect
The book is available only in kindle version . The title of the book could have been more better however it portrays the depth that these poems convey . The cover of the book is not so attractive but it's okay . The writing style is easy . This book is suitable for beginners however I found it short read . ...........
5 out of ⭐⭐⭐⭐
⭐: Beautiful poems ⭐ : language ⭐ : narration ⭐ : cover . However one star has been deducted for title which I thought could have been much better .
What's your favourite collection of short poems ?! . Tell me in the comments section below as I would love to hear from you . ..........

👑"You should see me in a crown"👑
This is a really late post today. I have been so busy the last two days and it's looking like tomorrow is going to be more of the same. So just wanted to squeeze this in here because I doubt I get to post at all tomorrow. .
QOTD: Have you ever stumbled upon a book that made you truly angry? Like to the point you just wanted to jump right on in and take charge?
AOTD: For me that was this book. I read the whole thing so it wasn't that I felt the writing was bad but I truly despised the characters in this book. The MC was naive and gulliable and didn't learn from her mistakes at all. And the male characters were far worse. I felt like most of them treated women horribly. And without giving too much away there was one guy who was pretty upstanding but I didn't feel he got the attention he deserved. .

a foreign languages bookstore with a growing contemporary section. a wild sheep chase is one of enno vatti’s 100 books to read, but i hadn’t heard of it prior. the only murakami works i’ve read are norwegian wood & kafka on the shore; how about you?

most recent read: a curse so dark and lonely, by brigid kemmerer. a fast retelling of beauty and the beast, but a little too ya for my tastes after having read superior retellings. alas, it was just not for me. how about you? what was your most recent read? ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀

— ¡Hola, hola, hola!
