"You have to love it to be the best at it. You have to love the sport. It's good to be successful and have financial status, but if you only go in there for the money you're only going to reach a certain status and I'm in there for greatness and peace-of-mind. I'm sure I love the sport. If I were in there just for the financial background, I wouldn't do as well as I am doing now." -Mike Tyson @ironnmiketyson

Crawford/Spence or Loma/Davis, which is the fight you want to happen first?
I remember when I was In high school my dad would make me record all his televised fights. Most of my weekends consisted of me watching the fights. Now I watch them just to see my dad. I get so excited. He’s the only celebrity I get excited to see 😂 He’s the only celebrity I will ever look up to. My #1 role model. This isn’t the best picture but my kids get excited when they see him on tv so I had to get a quick pic. #mydaddy#daddiesgirl#Fajardo#GregoryFajardo#boxinglife#ESPN#Celebritylife#boxing

Endure the pain, enjoy the gain. •
Tonight’s classes with @campbellsomerville at 6pm & 7.30pm!
THE REAR UPPERCUT:
🧠 A great punch in close and used effectively as part of a combination or on the move, the rear uppercut is a tight, snappy and chin lifting shot that can set up some great openings!
1️⃣ The punch begins with the rotation of the foot, followed immediately by the hip and then the shoulder rotation. To get the technique locked in there’s no need for additional knee bend, practice throwing it without and then it can be added when the situation calls for it in the fight. No need to drop the knees every time you throw the punch - especially if you’re a tall fighter like me.
2️⃣ Get the elbow beneath the fist and your wrist arced in towards you. This will strengthen the arm and stabilise the fist so that you land with the big knuckles and all of the force is moving directly upwards putting their chin where it needs to be to land the follow up.
3️⃣ Non punching hand must always remain high and if you’re aren’t following this shot with the lead hook (if you’re throwing it as a single shot in close) it’s important to snap the rear shoulder back to position so your chin is protected.

PLEASE DON’T COMMENT IF YOU HAVEN’T READ THE CAPTION, OR YOU’RE ONLY GOING TO SAY “BEND YOUR KNEES”.
