Good morning everyone!! I know there is a ton of new people here and I want to say thank youuuu so much for following and supporting me!! 💗 I haven’t really introduced myself on here so here we go y’all! My name is Chelsey! I am a mother to three beautiful kiddos! I am married to the The Hound, my amazing husband, and best friend Quinn! I work full time as an account specialist at a bank. I’ve been a photographer for 10 years and do social media marketing and content creation on the side! I was born in northern Utah, raised in the Land of Enchantment, NM and now I’m back where I’ve always wanted to be, in southern Utah! My husband is going to school to be a PA and is a medical assistant! He is a huge supporter in what I do here on my IG. He’s my Instagram husband, assistant and pack mule! We coparent with my two oldest kids’ father, he’s one of our best friends and our baby Ada’s Godfather. The three of us share and run a coparenting IG page where we share our journey of coparenting together and our adventures as a blended family. The main goal of my IG is to push myself out of my comfort zone as a photographer and creator and to share my love of Southwest fashion and jewelry on a budget! I strive to be as happy and confident as I can be although I know life isn’t always easy and perfect so I share my day to day life in my stories, the good and the bad. I hope to help build confidence in women and to support and lift women in their small business dreams! I share what I love and stay true to who I am and encourage others to do the same. I enjoy and love southwest fashion and jewelry! It’s where my roots are and where my heart is! I grew up in 4H, rodeoing on weekends, working on our family farm and spending time outdoors as much as possible. I am a proud Native American from the Navajo tribe. I am a huge astronomy and space nerd, a makeup fanatic and I love to dig the grooves and bust some moves! I thank you all for following a long with my journey and love you all! I hope to inspire you and become a friend more than anything! Much love! The Fox! 💗
I’ve always thought photos taken in the arena look really cool on the rare occasion that they’re not blurry, with the dark arena & bright light coming in through the doorway .
I got to the barn around 8:30 this morning to lunge Chaco & Lynx before my 9:30 class — they were both good boys as per usual! Chaco was feeling a little extra frisky, I might turn him out in the indoor for a bit tomorrow morning if I get a chance when it’s empty 😂 he needs to run around a little off the lunge line!
So turns out my boyfriend’s schedule got changed up AGAIN and he’s not visiting this weekend 🙃 but I might try to talk one of my friends into taking photos of Chac & me riding on Saturday or Sunday when it’s nice out. We’ll see! .
QOTD: what are your horse’s favorite treats?
Chaco loooves the pony pretzels that came in his box from @saddleboxhorses, apple turnovers, and these raspberry flavored senior treats I always get him! .
Before the Land Run, for thousands of years giant herds of bison traveled along America's Great Plains. They constantly would tear up soil with their hooves, allowing nutrients to spread. Our prairie's look quite a bit different now with sprawling highways, farmlands, and suburban development. But there's really awesome organizations that are working to rebuild small pieces of those prairies for us to enjoy and so for generations to come we can enjoy wildflowers and bison under our big blue sky. For every candle sold, 10% of proceeds are going to various non-profits dedicated to these magical and wild places. Giving back is going to be a huge part of Tallgrass and I wanted to make that part of our foundation from the start.
