“Sable Starr lived to fuck rock stars. She was so glamorous, totally one-of-a-kind, wearing scarves for shirts and going topless without hesitation. My junior high school friend Queenie became friends with Sable and introduced me. I was 14. Sable was the same age. I felt completely in awe of her. My mother owned a concession at the movie star restaurant Chasen’s. On weekend nights, while she worked, I snuck out of the house to hang with Queenie and Sable at the clubs on Sunset Strip.”
Lori Maddox about her fellow groupie and friend Sable Starr

As a young lad growing up in Manchester Slade spoke to me, so much so that I joined their fan club and was lucky to see them at their peak a couple of times, including a storming show in 1972 at the Free Trade Hall with Thin Lizzy. When Mike Peters booked them to headline his Snowdonia Rocks event I went along not really knowing what to expect especially as Noddy Holder no longer plays with them. But I have to say I had a fantastic time and Dave Hill put on a great show even without the platform boots and ‘Super Yob’ guitar. I spent the whole evening singing along… even to some of the more obscure, older songs and even got to catch up with them and do the Slay-ed thumbs with the real thing… and there wasn’t a cuppa soup in sight 🍵😉 #billyduffy#slade#davehill#superyob#donpowell#lookwotudun#zipworldrocks#snowdoniarocks#lovehopestrength#lhs#zipworld#snowdonia#northwales 🏴 Photo by Mick Peek

Demon 💿The Plague 2 March 1983 the third studio album release from iconic British #hardrock band about to be dropped from their record label for changing style in the middle of recording this album!?
If I had more space I would have made the story about the album cover!!!!
To evaluate this album from a fan standpoint would mean not offering the album half a chance If there ever was a time to ask an album to be viewed totally on its own, this is it! This album has nothing to do with early Demon album's as a whole and even though I do enjoy the two first and a few of the albums to follow it!? This is something Quite on the other side of Different👍 Demon moving into the #progressiverock music! Actually so far from the two first albums WTF!? It took me quite some time to accept this as a "proper" Demon release but once I did this album really has grown to be the most important even if stand alone of their releases!? I'll restrain myself from doing a rundown of the track's but I will say!! I don't care what you have heard from #demon If Ya' like the #progressivemusic you got to hear this album and just don't think #demonband You won't regret it! This album stands alone in every respect of the two words "stand alone" hahaha
This one goes out to my very good Friend @karlmautner who got a really good story about the importance of tolerance for our Music and not the name of the Band!?
☮OUT Everyone enjoy your weekend People👍 In Case of Fire🔥 SAVE THE VINYL'S!!!
