So lately I’ve been feeling a bit ... MEH about my body . I was having a chat to my man the other day and I said to him “ Ive lost nearly 10kg but I look at myself in the mirror and still feel like I’m the same as I was 6 months ago . Which I clearly am not.
Im not one to compare myself to “insta girls “ and I’m usually very confident but I still find myself having doubts every now and then which I try snap myself out of but it’s not always that easy.
At the end of the day I have made some mad progress on myself outside and inside , I’ve grown much more as a person and learnt a lot about myself and my body , I can’t truthfully say that I’m bloody proud of myself and I am happy with myself and my body but I’m only human and sometimes my mind plays games with me. - #keepgrinding -
No content was recorded today from my back day but I wanted to post this because I've seen so much progress from my squats, I believe these are a couple months apart 365 for 1 rep to 455 for 3.. and later 495 for a rough single. I've taken a step back from squats and focused more on isolated movements because I took them for granted and was only worried about my compound. I will eventually be back under the bar to put some weight up again.

Trying to get these arms bigger so did lots of volume work yesterday with the 25s and 30s with my dad. Like 7-8 sets total. Not sure. 💪 Going to be really focusing on improving my arms every way I can. 😁 Trained them later with my bro @boosted_fk for a second time. 🤘Went heavier from 20s to 45s but just doing strict concentration curls every set back to the 27.5s and 20s for burnouts. 😳 Trying to turn my weakness into my strength. 🙏

Decent back workout with my dad today! 🙏 Got a great pump. 💪 Just did the basics today. Stuck with sets of pull ups, various pull downs and shrugs with the 45. 🤘 Cool seeing how much my back has improved. ☺

Starting to get better at deadlifts. Still not perfect but I'm improving a lot. ☺ Did these after already killing myself on squats so just took it easy but managed a few PR's still. 💪 Did 2 sets of 10 135, set of 10 185, set of 5 225, set of 5 245, set of 5 275, set of 10 285 PR, and a set of 7 285. 🤘 Every set felt easy too but not pushing myself on these till I know my lower back can handle it. 🙏 Hoping for 315 for 10 soon. 🤔 We'll see. 😁

Always important to program your training but more importantly switch it up and give your body a new shock. Different forms of resistance allow you to target your body in different way. Never be afraid to step out the “box”.
