Do you ever feel empty? I know you do...because I know I do! But last year during Easter I wrote this in my journal and I want to share it with you:
. "As I thought about it, I realized that this whole day is all about emptiness - only an emptiness of victory: an empty tomb. Jesus left the grave behind, leaving it empty so that we could leave it behind, too. Those feelings of loneliness and emptiness are merely lies from a grave that once held us in its merciless grip but no longer does. We're not empty - the grave is! We, on the other hand, have never been more full, because we are filled with the One who was always meant to fill the void in our hearts. He is here, He is risen. That is my victory."
Friend, if you believe in Jesus, then even if you FEEL empty, that emptiness is a lie. Jesus is the One who alone can save our souls and fill our hearts. That's something to celebrate, and not just on Easter ❤
