  • UPDATE ON LACEY: New Imaging tells us there are very slow growing nodules in liver, abdominal wall, near spleen, small amount of fluid around Laceys heart. The good news and irony is that “Slow growing” is stable and something is working. It shows us continued success of the surgery, because the rapid growth is not occurring as prior to the Oct. 2018 surgery, which may mean they removed all the prior rapid growing rogue cells.
Following Laceys Debulking surgery at RUSH University, Chicago in Oct 2018, and her first infusion there, Lace has continued on GemOx/Avastine at home here in California at UCLA, but under the guidance of Dr. Kent at RUSH University. The plan being once disease was manageable make the switch to a preferred regimen that includes a 5FU pump, Interferon Injections and Nivolumab Infusions. Now, is the time to switch therapies.
We are vigilant, ready to make the trip to Dr. Kent, Dr. Schadde and the team at RUSH at any time if surgery is needed.
While we are a courageous and an optimistic family, Lacey and our family need and are grateful your continued love, support and positivity. We all know Lacey forges through, always rising up in light and power, but there are also dark times she endures. It’s a painful journey for her... for us. She needs the presence of all those who love and support her in her life. The goal is her Cure! YOU GOT THIS LACE AND WE GOT YOU! 💪🏼💛🌻🌞 #FibroFighters #LaceyGraceOrg #FibroFighters #FLHCC #RUSHUniversityMedicalCenter #Chicago #AgouraHills #FibrolamellarsOfTheWorldUnite #RUSHUniversityPediatricOncology
