  • This is the closest image I could find to try and get my message across. Please respect my choices if I don’t want to eat something, I am feeling good about my self and this doesn’t happen very often. I am tracking my food and am in control, this will be harder from Friday when I drive home but please don’t be offended if I don’t eat something you have made or bought.  I’m a people pleaser and this stops here. I want to not gain all the weight over the Christmas period that I have lost.  I will still enjoy food and drink over Christmas but on my terms. I’m not being boring I’m taking control of my life and my body. I want to just have a couple of days where I go crazy and I really need to try and stay on track for the others. Here’s how I make my fave 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 “𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐩” 𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐞✅ (I crave the peppermint flavour in the winter over a fruity smoothie!)⁣⁣
⁣⁣
•1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk⁣⁣
•large handful of frozen organic baby spinach⁣⁣
•1/2 cup steamed then frozen cauliflower⁣⁣
•1 scoop of @canadianprotein chocolate New Zealand whey protein powder (made with stevia)⁣⁣
•1/2 tbsp almond butter or coconut butter⁣⁣
•1 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder⁣⁣
•sprinkle of cacao nibs⁣⁣
•few drops of peppermint extract (this is the key!!*)⁣⁣
•1 tbsp ground flax seed (awesome fibre and omega 3!)⁣⁣
•few ice cubes⁣⁣
⁣⁣
BLEND and top with more cacao nibs or your fave granola— sooo good. And so healthy! I feel amazing after starting my day with this.⁣⁣

  • Unbecoming. 
We need to unbecome who we are so we can become who we are meant to be. 
Our experiences shape us. Along the way we learned patterns that have kept us safe but that don't serve us anymore. We live life "safely" on autopilot. We continue having the same conversations in our head. We continue having the same experiences over and over again. And we wonder why. Starting to pay attention to your thoughts will open you up to your emotional world. Only with safe-awareness can we change our thoughts therefore our behaviours. 
Lately I have been asking myself why do I keep having relationships with emotionally unavailable men. The question should be: how am I emotionally unavailable? What we attract is a mirror of what is going on inside us. I believe that I'm being open, but what parts of me am I afraid of showing? What parts am I afraid of sharing? 
Maybe it's time to take a hard look at myself and really do the work to attract what I truly want. Maybe it's time for me to unbecome all that I am and give birth to a new me.
