The Belgian Pavillion was filled with these weird and hilarious characters - Lagretha Toft who knits exactly 1.1 scarves a day and is celebrated for her perseverance, Sateri the pizza chef who buys up large quantities of spoilt food, is in business with the Chinese and can swim underwater for hours without breathing, and De Belder Guido, the inventor of Magic Abstract Realist Romanticism, an artistic style of which he was the sole practitioner.
