Planks are one of my all time favorite ab workouts.

Strict planks are hard as is, but adding movements and different variations to planks takes it to a whole other level.

Training abs use to be something I didn’t enjoy very much.

I figured out that it was due to the fact that I didn’t feel like the exercises I was doing were working or actually targeting my abs very much.

Once I learned new exercises that made me really ‘feel it’ in my abs, I started to love my core workouts.

Same idea applies to all muscle groups.

If you don’t like training them, it’s more than likely due to you not knowing what exercises make that muscle group really work hard.

I’ve worked hard for these results. I wish I could say it’s been a piece of cake 🍰 but it hasn’t. These results are due to not giving up regardless of how many times I fall💪

You guys know I struggle, I fall off the wagon, eat things I shouldn’t, give in to temptation, but no matter what I get back up and give it another try 👏

I’ve lost a total of 124 lbs though diet and exercise. I’ve had my ups and downs throughout my weight loss journey. I will say that the struggle has been 💯 worth it, but not easy.

It’s not impossible. If I can make this change, trust me, you can too! You need to set your goals, get your mind straight and don’t stop until you’re proud🙌

I know my journey isn’t the best example, but I’m glad it’s helpful 😘

Why does it happen? As a society, we’re focused on the woman’s lower half - everyone wants a nice butt and slim legs. That is the reason why most women’s arms are underdeveloped.

"Expect to get stronger every time you step foot in the gym? I did when I first started lifting! If that was true, I'd be able to squat 5,000lbs! ❕Truth is: progress isn't linear.

But fortunately, there are lots of ways to recognize that you are getting stronger & improving in the gym.

Maybe you get 1 more rep on a set. Or you add a little weight to your sets. Or you decrease your resting time. It doesn't necessarily matter which one you do. You just want to make gradual improvement over time & constantly strive to beat your former self.

Strength, performance & fat loss happen at different rates for everyone, but as long as you are progressing in some way, your body will most certainly change.

For our muscles to grow, for strength to be gained, for performance to increase, or to get faster, our bodies must go through a period of excess stress above & beyond what it has previously experienced. This is called "progressive overload." There are lots of ways to increase the difficulty of an exercise & this can be particularly helpful if you are working out w limited equipment or need to switch things up. ☝🏼Increase the Weight: more total load 📈More Reps/Sets: more total volume ⏱Decreased Rest: apply more force over a time period will improve your conditioning & cardio abilities

Stronger Mindset/Mental Game: this one is huge! going into your workouts w increased confidence in your strength & abilities will help you to tackle workouts

Increased Range of Motion (ROM) & Flexibility: more muscular damage leading to higher rates of hypertrophy (muscle growth)

Tempo: slowing down the motion of any movement forces you to master the movement pattern, your form, & increases fatigue as the set progresses. I prefer to use a 3-4 sec eccentric (lowering portion) when adjusting tempo.

Через разные обстоятельства, с разными мотивами, в поиске , ища лучшую версию себя... Меня за 15 лет зал спас от разных передряг, стал моей стихией. Знакомил с людьми, учил общаться с разными поколениями... Всегда шел тренироваться, отдавался процессу и получал удовольствие
Если вы пришли тренироваться, делайте это честно , обдумано, не обращая внимая, на усталость, пот , а главное тех кто рядом. Тренировка должна  поглотить, дисциплинировать, от этого зависит что вы делаете, ходите за лучшей версией себя и результом, или для галочки...

Вообще  летом  должно худеться  проще, чем зимой - много свежих овощей, фруктов, активности, но у всех ли и всегда так все просто и действительно процесс похудения идёт на ура?

Мне например наоборот сложно летом удержать форму😬почему?
⠀
делюсь своими причинами и наблюдениями ⤵️
⠀
⛱Доступность  свежих, вкусных овощей, фруктов, ягод - да это наверное самый классный бонус лета😍🍉🍈🍎🍇🍓🍆🍑, но и риск переесть и перебрать по калориям увеличивается😞спелые сладкие фрукты и овощи содержат фруктозу (тот же сахар, но природный) имеют приличную калорийность - а ведь все знают, как можно незаметно подсесть на арбуз/дыню/клубнику/черешню - поэтому контролировать стоит не только кондитерские сладости и выпечку, но и количество фруктов и овощей;

⛱ Сладкие прохладительные напитки - квас, холодный чай, лимонады, компоты, морсы - везде содержится сахар и калорийность напитков нужно обязательно учитывать - иногда мы можем ничего особо не есть, но выпивать и набирать калории только из напитков - в жару это несложно сделать!

⛱ Частое испытывание жажды: обезвоживание заставит организм задерживать драгоценную влагу и еще сильнее спровоцирует отек (а еще кучу других проблем). Выпивайте в жаркий  день 2-2,5 л чистой воды.

⛱ Летом многие отказываются от тренировок - причин придумывается масса: отпуск, дача, жара🤷‍♀️ - но суть одна - начинаем тратить меньше калорий, чем обычно. На тренировках вы "сжигаете" калории, но этим дело не ограничивается. Во время тренировки обмен веществ ускоряется, и сохраняет эту скорость еще несколько часов после того, как вы ушли из зала. То есть и во время послетренировочного отдыха вы "сжигаете" больше калорий, чем обычно.

⛱ Путешествия, поездки, отдых - все это выбивает из привычного образа жизни, режима питания и сна + много соблазнов (вечерние посиделки на даче🍻🥩🌭🥂, любимый курорт и ол инклюзив🌮🍕🥯🍦🧁🍨)да, отдыхать нужно и расслабляться тоже важно, но все же не пускаться во все тяжкие🤪

  • I'm Rafaello and I am a personal trainer backed with military experience. In the military I've learned to use the environment to stay in shape. Gyms are not always available and sometimes working out at a gym can be overwhelming. Running, Swimming, Strength, and Martial Arts are activities I practice and will be sharing here on Instagram.   • Allowing myself the patience to fail and screw up what it is I have a vision about is the most rewarding experience I can think of. To have such a great understanding about yourself is sign of ultimate patience. You can’t measure patience when your state is good and comfortable. You must measure when your ideal circumstances are not any wear in sight.  Allowing yourself the access to your own darkness brings out a whole different person. Turn off the light in the dark, let the darkness envelope completely. When you feel that your at your weakest point and darkest moment, embrace. Become so comfortable with the darkness your learn to function through it as of it wer your ideal circumstances. All that has been stated is pretty plain Jane. Read it and ponder for a while. Don’t just read and forget. Read and read some more. Allow yourself to understand yourself. Getting to know yourself is a painful process. It never stops, After a while though, you will feel how you can manage the sensation of ”pain”. It's all a mental game. So press play
