  • Nothing important here just some facts about me:

1️⃣ if I could eat one food everyday for the rest of my life it would be deep dish pizza (Giordano’s or Lous🤤 I don’t discriminate)
2️⃣ I have 3 siblings and they’re all my best friends
3️⃣ Fave music is edm specifically house
4️⃣ I have an actual phobia. Not just oh Im scared of spiders like full on panic attack real disorder phobia (if you wanna know what it is message me, my true homies know what it is)
5️⃣ I’m a psych major and want to be a clinical mental health counselor!
6️⃣ I have a sweet tooth like no one I’ve ever known
7️⃣ I have only been to Florida 2 times (that i remember) other than that I haven’t traveled anywhere
8️⃣ although I have not been anywhere thus farrrr I really want to travel in my life and see this beautiful world!!
9️⃣fave show of all time issss FRIENDS
I also love Jane the virgin, new girl, blacklist, law and order svu and probably some others I can’t think of IF YOU HAVE ANY SHOWS YOU LOVE LEMME KNOW
🔟I’ll be the first person in my family to graduate college (eventually)

  • Last year was the toughest year of my life as I lost my precious mommy. My mom was the strongest woman I knew and she always raised me and my siblings to be the best and strongest people we could be. She used to always say “metè femmè sou ou!” which means in creole to put strength on you. I didn’t know how strong I was until I had to put it to test to literally get through the day. Whether you are in a difficult season of your life or struggling to find strength, be encouraged that you are stronger than you think! Your difficult season shall pass, your goals will be accomplished, & your better days are ahead of you!

  • A group of people at work have been talking about running a 5k together in August. I haven’t ran in years. I use to run almost everyday and was down to a 10 minute mile. Which for my 5 foot 4 inch self felt pretty quick. I had two knee surgery’s in high school and after time my knee started bothering me and I gave up running. I’ve always missed it and this group 5k is just an excuse for me to give it a shot again. So today I started running again. I didn’t have much time but I got a short run in. To be honest it was slow but I will take this victory. It can only get better from here. I’m always up for a challenge 💪

  • WHAT IT DO?! We got less than 2 months until the first day of summer! How are you progressing towards your ☀️ SUMMER BODY ☀️ goals?

If you find yourself hitting a plateau, here are the 3 key things I recommend:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
😴 Make sure you're getting enough sleep! You already know: 8 hours of rest every night. Shut off the TV and cell phone and go to BED! Try some CBD, Holy Basil, or a nighttime tea blend to help ensure your body is getting enough rest.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💧 Double check your water intake. Eight cups a day is the standard recommendation but there's a more efficient way: Weigh yourself. Divide that number in half. Drink that much in ounces. Boom. Done.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🕟 Go on a fast. Remember, it's not just about losing weight. It's about HEALING THE BODY. Going on a fast is a great way to do that. You can eat only fruit for a few days or do fruits and green veggies. You can eat between 12p and 6p or 8p (intermittent fasting) or eat just healthy a meal a day. You can even do a water fast where you only drink water for a few days.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⚠️ Whichever route you choose — with the exception of intermittent fasting — you DO NOT want to workout while you fast otherwise your body will go into starvation mode. With intermittent fasting, 30 minutes a  day 5-6 days a week is plenty.
