Super easy, quick, delicious American Chop Suey 🍅🙌🏻🌈. This is a #30minutemeal that will not disappoint. It will get #dinner on the table fast 💨 and it is a regular go to of ours. Everyone loves it especially my kiddos. 🥰👫👫 It is super versatile too as you can add whatever veggies you love and it can be kept #vegetarian / #vegan simply by omitting the meat. 2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
1 medium yellow or red onion peeled and diced
3 cloves fresh garlic peeled and minced
Pinch of sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp herbs de Provence
1/2 red pepper washed, cored and sliced
1/2 yellow pepper washed, cored and sliced
1 lb #grassfed ground beef
1 jar of marinara @raoshomemade
2 cups frozen collard greens, broccoli rabe or spinach (optional just adds extra #nutrition ). 1 package of penne pasta #glutenfree or not cooked.
Take a large pot and add olive oil, then place your stove top to medium heat. Once hot add onion, garlic, sea salt, black pepper, oregano, herbs de Provence and sauté for 8 minutes till onion becomes translucent. Now add peppers and cook another 3 minutes, then add ground beef. Sauté for 8 minutes till beef is almost fully cooked then add marinara. Then take the empty marinara jar and fill halfway with cold water, shake and add water to pot for #zerowaste . Now add frozen greens. Bring to a boil, then reduce to low and let simmer for a few minutes so all the flavors can come together. Then, set aside briefly. Cook your noodles of choice, drain the pasta water and add the cooked pasta to your marinara. Toss well and serve immediately. Enjoy! ❤️

Brick and Mortar Cafe
This cafe had been somewhere we’d never tried before so we were feeling adventurous last weekend and thought hmmm we’re hungry and don’t feel like cooking where could we go? (Usually the answer is nowhere for breakfast unless we go to Eugene (more on that later)). So I was thrilled to find a new place to try! I did NOT get sick from this place and I ordered the Denver Omelette with no toast since they use the same toaster for all bread and I subbed avocado. The food was good, the ham was really nice and the potatoes were okay (too much skin for me.) It was definitely worth the trip over because 1. I didn’t get sick. 2. I didn’t have to cook. 3. Me and Will got out of the house for a nice little brunch! We both agreed the service was eh okay but it was busy and seemed a little too short staffed. But the most important part is finding places close to home that don’t have cross contamination for me, and this place I can happily say didn’t hurt me in any way! Yay! (I would recommend!) •

Scallops-something I don’t cook much of for fear of serving tough, rubbery ones. These were seared over high heat for a short amount of time and turned out perfectly “just done” and taste amazing! Served on top of fresh made pineapple fried rice. So simple, yet so elegant as well. 🍍

I haven't had a chance to try this and the picture is dark. Beets will bleed so it's hard to see other vegies. Vegetables used: beet, carrots, parsnips and a rutebega (I have never had a rutebega). Also I couldn't figure out why you would soak the vegetables in their own bowls and not use all of the ingredients do I lined them up and used full ingredients minus the guryere cheese (I made a vegan version). O will say the left over juices were very nice in flavor. No potatoes, no guryere cheese and subbed out cornstarch and used arrowroot starch and coconut cream in place of heavy cream

My self care is my wardrobe! I know that sounds frivolous, but it’s who I am. When it comes to my happiness earrings, boots, jackets, lacy tops, leggings and shorts are top of the pecking order.
People always used to tell me that my earrings were “too big” and for awhile I believed them. But then I realised I came out of the womb obsessed with earrings and that was just who I am!
People will often tell you things about YOU that actually reflect their own insecurity. It’s taken me years to learn this, but it’s true. I had to learn it the hard way and suppressed parts of myself for a long time. But in the end that creates a splintered human. These days I wear my big earrings in professional photo shoots, in my live Facebook videos and at work. Coz, when I don’t I feel like an imposter.
I’m so much happier accepting that I’m a Naturopath, an earring obsessee, and a lover of wholefoods, electronic music, books, tropical islands, hot springs, baths, exercise and travelling. I can be all of those things in all of those areas! (Downside is I’m constantly leaving my earrings at the gym lol)
I have two careers that require me to help people with complex problems. In order to do this, I need my earrings! I love these ones by @bhunnydesigns

Ingredientes: - 6 huevos
- 1 cucharadita de esencia de vainilla - 50 g de azúcar - 500 g de leche
- 200 g de chocolate blanco
Para el caramelo: - 1/4 de taza de agua
- 150 g de azúcar
1- En un molde de media libra agregar el 1/4 de taza de agua y los 150 g de azucar, mezclar bien y dejar cocinar hasta que este listo el caramelo, retirar del fuego y dejar reposar.
2- En la licuadora o a mano integrar todos ingredientes
3- Agregar la mezcla en el molde, taparlo con papell aluminio y después ponerlo al baño María en el horno a 180° de 1 a 2 horas(depende del horno de cada uno)
4- Cuando este listo dejar reposar hasta que este frio y después desmoldar y listo!
[Werbung] Guten Morgen 😊 Am Freitag gab es spontan diese gefüllten und überbackene Pfannkuchen. Spontane Ideen sind meistens die besten. So auch dieses leckere Gericht 😋 Die Pfannkuchen bestehen aus Kichererbsenmehl. Ich nutze das Mehl sehr gerne, da es proteinreich ist und mit super Nähewerten schlägt 😉 Die Füllung bestand aus Spargel, Spinat und Paprika im einer veganen "Sahnesoße". Ein Traum 😍 Das Rezept lasse ich euch da 👇 Ich müsste es soweit noch zusammen bekommen 😅 Einen guten Start in die kurze Woche.
2 Portionen Gemüse in "Sahnesoße":
1 Zwiebel fein hacken und in etwas Öl andünsten. 500g weißer Spargel schälen, im mundgerechte Stücke schneiden und mitdünsten. 1 roter Paprika putzen, in Würfel schneiden und ebenso zugeben. Wenn das Gemüse einige Minuten gedünstet hat, wird das Ganze mit 1 Packung Sojasahne abgelöscht und 1 EL Zitronensaft, 1 gepresste Knoblauchzehe, 2 bis 3 EL Hefeflocken, Salz, Pfeffer, etwas geriebener Muskatnuss und eine Prise Schwefelsalz untergerührt. Die Soße aufkochen lassen, 1 Handvoll Spinat unterheben und die Soße noch kurz köcheln lassen. Nun kann die Soße verwendet werden, z.B. als Füllung für Pfannkuchen. Guten Appettit!
