🧘♀️When we meditate, we clear the clutter, we get to the root, the source. When we get still, listen, and detach, those thoughts that dance and spin, ricochet and careen through our mental space, slow down and pass. Like cooling molecules, those thoughts reduce their speed, they take up less space, allowing for new energy, new ideas, new potential to enter and expand.
🧠Meditation allows us to regain control over our own mind. By observing with distance, we’re able to more objectively look at what’s going on inside and to make decisions based on our soul’s logic, not the shortsighted anxiety and fear that’s so often woven into the fabric of our thoughts.
✨So, think of meditation as a necessary part of your routine–like brushing your teeth or taking a bath or shower. It’ll be the most powerful thing you do each day to ensure your overall well-being.

Head and the heart. Last night during breathwork @sanctum.la my teacher @thechriskeener mentioned this and it struck a chord with me. In so many past situations I let my head make the decisions because I was afraid of opening my heart and getting hurt. When your head and your heart want two different things, these are some of the toughest decisions we have to make. But what I realized last night is in the past I wasn’t aligned which made me struggle with so many decisions. I have taken the time to align my head, heart, and soul I haven’t struggled with this in a while. I know when to take the leap and when to be still. ❤️

When I went to Nicaragua to sail and make a show for @sperry it changed my life. I loved the warmth and the animals and the ocean. I loved the music and the people and the way of life at the places I visited there. I was mostly in #sanjuandelsur and I WILL live there one day and open my own little surf up beach bar. (Quote me on that...I’m all about accountability and manifestation in 2020☺️)
I am never quite as happy as I am when I’m near water...or the mountains so I try my hardest to be close by. It’s so important to search for and realize what environments make you happy and to get to those places often.
No hay excusas para practicar... no hay excusas para nada en la vida!!! 💪 Pueden creer que estando de vacaciones en tan lindos lugares...no traje mi mat de yoga😐 pero igual practiqué todos los dias (a veces mas... a veces menos) que muchas veces morí de verguenza de armar la postura para la foto (aunque hacerlo por el challenge me mantuvo mas firme en la práctica (eso me encantó🤗)...
