Do you know this feeling: you are dieting properly but still feel hungry… ⠀

Most likely you need to add some volume into your meals! ⠀

I have posted numerous photos about calories. To take them all into count you basically need to keep in mind that 100g of Cucumber has far less volume than 100g of candy  or chocolate cookies . The food have the same overall weight. However, you get MUCH more of the cucumber than you would the candy or chocolate cookies . ⠀ ⠀

If you want to bring your dieting lifestyle to the next level I recommend choosing one (or two) of these food options & try to include them in every meal of the day . Due to the volume (of for example the cucumber) and the little calorie intake extra per meal you will feel more satisfied after any meal and may help with your hunger issues . ⠀

My personal favorites are Broccoli  and pineapples (still love the sweet stuff ). ⠀

  • HEALTHY 5-INGREDIENT PEANUT BUTTER BLOSSOMS // I did an informal survey of everyone’s favorite holiday cookie at my Thanksgiving this year and four separate people called out “that peanut butter cookie with the Hershey kiss on top” (although no one knew what it was called!🤣🤣). ⁣⁣

It's actually called a Peanut Butter Blossom, and when so many of you named it as your top cookie for me to makeover (if you haven’t put in your request, do it now on my previous in-feed post!!👈👈), I knew I needed to get to work. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
This one has just five ingredients (plus salt, which you could leave out if you use salted PB). They’re perfectly chewy, like PB cookie dough, and you get a yummy bit of chocolate in every bite—and you can easily make them vegan!! You just need:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
1 cup unsalted creamy peanut butter (I used @justins)⁣⁣
1 cup coconut sugar⁣⁣
1 pastured egg (a flax egg works too)⁣⁣
1 teaspoon vanilla extract⁣⁣
¼ teaspoon fine grain sea salt⁣⁣
Dark chocolate discs, for the center (I used @santabarbarachocolate)⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Mix together PB, coconut sugar, egg, vanilla, and salt until well combined. Refrigerate for 15 minutes, or until the dough can be rolled into a ping pong-sized ball with your hands. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit when you start rolling, then place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake 11-13 minutes, or until bottoms are light brown. Remove from oven and immediately press one disc into the center of each cookie (this helps it melt a bit and adhere to the cookie). Let the cookies cool completely before removing from pan. This makes about 18 cookies.⁣⁣

Ingredients 🍱:
1 package penne pasta
3 garlic cloves minced
6 ounces fresh baby spinach
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 cup white wine
2 1/2 cups heavy cream
2 cups shredded mozzarella
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
4 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/3 cup Italian-style panko bread crumbs

DIRECTIONS 👩‍🍳:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a 6-qt. Dutch oven, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium-high heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 30 seconds. Add spinach; cook and stir just until wilted, 1-2 minutes. Remove from pot and set aside.
In same pot, add olive oil over medium/high heat. Season each side of each chicken breast with salt, pepper, and oregano. Cook on each side for approximately 8 minutes or until fully cooked. Set aside and allow to rest for 5 minutes; slice into thin strips.
In the same dutch oven, add the white wine to deglaze the pan. After wine is simmering, scrape all the chicken bits to the center, they hold a ton of flavor! Add in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Slowly stir in the mozzarella, parmesan, and cream cheese. Stir in the salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Heat through until all the cheese is melted and smooth.
Add pasta to the sauce, tossing to fully coat. Stir in the spinach mixture and the chicken. Sprinkle with the bread crumbs. Serve immediately. Enjoy! .

Yesterday, I shared a post talking about making the DECISION to better your health habits.

Today, it hit me during a workout. Not only do you need to make the DECISION to do so, but your HEART AND SOUL need to say YES instead of your ego saying NO!

It’s whats been holding you back—your EGO!

Your true self (heart & soul) wants to be better, do better, have better. But, your blocks and objections to making those positive changes are being caused by your jerky EGO!

I’ve got a real bitch of an ego, too—she tends to say, “you can’t do that, you don’t know enough, your not good enough, you’ll never be like her, etc...”

And, I know, your ego says, “I don’t have the finances, the time, the space, the equipment, the spouse support, the perfect body to start, etc...”

Look, girlfriend? If I can shut up my ego and fuel it with a more positive mindset, I assure you, you can do the same to yours!

Isn’t it time that you KICK YOUR EGO TO THE CURB?!

So I’m posting a pic from my hols, I loved this day, I indulged in fine food, drinks, treats and wonderment! So..... I’m spending the morning chilling out pampering myself with a hot bath and facial, and then I’m going to head out, and pick up some flowers and then head home to create and make food for later tonight! I feel cheered up already!   • I haven’t had a cold 🤧 in almost 2 years and neither has she🙌🏾 , and bear in mind my princess is only 3 and she goes nursery 🏫 she’s been around my friend she’s had chickenpox twice and my nephew and my niece who both had chickenpox, Still never caught them 🕺🏾🕺🏾 Don’t get it twisted I’ll occasionally have a snivel and she may get a cough, but really truly that’s the the most that we’ve got 💥👊🏾 And have you noticed how we both seem to always have energy 🔋⚡️ yea well, when your getting over 30 fruits into your body daily, that happens naturally💥👊🏾 It’s not only that did you know that right now eczema, acne, high cholesterol, diabetes usually flare up for most people when the temperature drops, but most illnesses and diseases start in the gut. 
Things like diabetes and cancer stem from poor nutrition but did you know you can reduce your risk of many things including almost all types of cancer by eating a nutritious diet❓

Research 📚 shows that as many as one-third of all cancer deaths are linked to lifestyle behaviors including diet and physical activity😟. However eating plenty of whole foods are your best bet for reducing cancer risk 💪🏾 and whole plant 🌱 foods is linked with a lower risk of lung, oral, breast, esophageal, stomach and colon cancer💥👊🏾. Research 📖 suggests the nutrients found naturally in foods 🍓🍏🥭 offers a protective effect. The same findings do not appear to be true for supplements. Thus, the best sources of nutrients for cancer prevention are nutrient-rich whole foods and healthful beverages.
