Slade 💿Slade Alive! 24 March 1972 The first live album and the third album release from iconic British #70srock band #slade The members couldn't be more controversial in the day! Perhaps most colorful Frontman ever in music #noddyholder The ugliest Haircut I've ever seen in the freaking 70s must belong to #davehill The freakish band dress code in British history😂 I don't know much about #jimlea & #donpowell ?
With Hit's like #borntobewild a totally ripoff #getdownwithit another ripoff #darlingbehomesoon it's almost a cover band hahaha I think they only made three of the track's on the album themselves!? But people liked it so much it went No.2 on the U.K. album charts remaining there for over a year!? That's pretty impressive in my world people👍
In its original format the album was issued in a "Gatefold" sleeve which revealed a cartoon drawing inside like mine😉 This drawing was the winning entry in a competition run in The Sun newspaper to design the album cover!? In Israel and Italy the front cover used the inner gatefold artwork instead including certain editions releases in the Netherlands and France also used this design!? #sladealive is a must have album in your Vinyl Collection if you are interested in the #70sglam not judging here my Friend's but I'll give it a "All Killer with the Filler" hahaha I confused myself sometimes but I'll "Stand my Ground" on this one people
When Ozzy Osbourne pulled out of the reading festival in 1980 he recommended Slade to the organisers , they were literally finished as a band, but they brought the house down and they were back for a few more years
Slade - we'll bring the house down - 1980 👍 #slade#noddyholder#davehill#jimlea#donpowell
Once again, an eye opener from Slade. An earthy blues/rock album of the 70s, strip away the glam and you’ve got a solid very underrated rock band. As always, Noddy’s vocals are pure class #slade#noddyholder#davehill#jimlea#donpowell
It's raining💧☔.........but not in my workroom it ain't......no way Pedro😆I'm having some loud glam today😉Reminds me of being a kid in the seventies, when you could ring Dial-a-disc on 160 on the phone and listen to the tune of the day......2 on Sundays!!😄My Dad fixed a little air freshener to the ear piece & told me it was a device that blew yer ******* ear off if you didn't get off the phone😂Heady parties, when I danced till I fell asleep on 2 chairs with someones coat over me, woke up at 3am and started again😁🎵🎶Yep.....take me back pleeeeeeeze😀 #slade#glamrock#noddyholder#davehill#jimlea#donpowell#goodtimes#seventieskid#ilove70smusic .......Cum on feel the noize people👍

Slade is a way too underrated band. Rose to fame in the early days of glam rock (early 70s) cut some hits but never really conquered the american audience.
'A ring on the chord, a chord on the ring
