Nem todo mundo sabe, mas as panturrilhas têm papel fundamental no nosso organismo. Apesar de geralmente só serem lembradas quando sentimos cãibras, as populares "batatas da perna" não servem apenas para andar ou ajudar a manter o equilíbrio e a postura, como também têm função importante na circulação sanguínea. São elas que auxiliam o retorno do sangue que já circulou pelo corpo, chamado de sangue venoso, para o coração.
O sangue é bombeado com uma força intensa pelo coração para o corpo todo. No entanto, o caminho de volta não é tão simples e fácil, especialmente na irrigação dos pés e das pernas, em que é preciso agir contra a gravidade.
Com a necessidade de percorrer o caminho de baixo para cima e subir uma distância de cerca de 1,20 metros, o sangue venoso precisa de impulso para conseguir voltar ao coração e completar o ciclo circulatório e aí é que entram as panturrilhas.

Kitty baby appreciation post 😻
Sammy and Alani were both feral kitties we rescued and I love them so, so much!
Sammy is the sweetest, cuddliest, friendliest boy and even the biggest cat skeptics adore him. He’s also super spoiled him and I carry him upstairs every night to bed and downstairs with me every morning 🙈
Alani is playful, bratty, and has the cutest meow! She gets closer to being cuddly everyday and I cannot wait 😂

Happy Friday beauties! I got my 5 days of training in again this week! 🤩 I’m working on my compound lifts with strength training and hitting new PBS every week 💪🏻 Im doing 4 days strength and 1 day conditioning which is every Friday (today hence the shorts) I started with a 500M row trying to hit athletic status of 1.55 🥵 killed me 😂 under 2 minutes is good. GOALS! I’m feeling super strong focused and motivated at the minute! I hope everyone had an amazing week and has a lovely weekend 💕💕💕 What’s everyone doing???
