I’m still stuck in abit of an Instagram block at the moment, so I’ve been doing the hashtag challenge which @littlepaperswan@edinburghwithkids are hosting to help give me some inspo back. So today’s prompt was ‘colour’ ... I think it’s pretty obvious by looking at my feed that my favourite colour is ‘bunny’ (pink, grey and white!) but, my second favourite is the sea blues, more specifically the Indian Ocean blues 💭

The results are in from our East and West Midlands sonographer training project and we're delighted to share them with you!
We believe the biggest single factor in increasing detection rates of congenital heart disease (CHD) is sonographer training. Our training programme gives health professionals the confidence, knowledge and skills to better spot heart defects during pregnancy screening.
Our mission is to train as many sonographers as possible, as regularly as possible. Thank you to everyone who supports our work and helps make that happen.
#pilotwife life ✈️ sometimes it really sucks, not gonna lie.
Christmas, Easter, Bank holidays and even weekends - you can forget about them and if you do get them together then it feels like Christmas every time.
You have to learn how to be independent and be grateful when you get time together during the week because everyone else is at work and you are the lucky ones spending time together.
You have to learn how to be patient and keep yourself busy to make the time go fast when he is away from home.
You have to learn to accept the roster changes and don’t put too much hope into the plans you have made because there is always the chance it will change.
But I’m sure it will all be worth it. And it will be the moment when Max realises that it is daddy flying those big birds in the sky ✈️
Happy Bank Holiday😘 -
We have a fun filled four days together and the weather is looking perfect 👌🏼
Have a lovely Easter everyone, I’m off to go indulge in chocolate with this cheeky chops, and maybe treat myself to a few glasses of the good old vino 💁🏼♀️🍫🥂
Honestly, this photo is a complete fake. My kids were REALLY making me work for a photo yesterday and I didn't end up getting one decent photo on my camera, NOT ONE. I had to use a previous photo of my son smiling months ago at another woodland walk to cover his crying face 😂😩 an hour editing to try and make this as legit as possible and here we are. It's not great, it's not even a photo I'm massively happy with, but it's a photo nether the less so that I can match the bluebell photo of Leo when he was his age.
I'm worried. I'm worried about how I like lots of others use empowering quotes and bumper stickers type of life advice that is making us believe we are empowering ourselves while we actually have just been procrastinating.
I am totally guilty of this.
I feel I've been conned into thinking and believing I am activist about my life, mental health, physical health, sexuality, the world, the planet, our children, the animals the list goes on.
But what good is just thinking your an activist, what good is just thinking about how much you care? What good is just having your thoughts echoed in empowerment phrases and stickers?
I decided to stop procrastination and when I left my front door I was going to actively reach out to where I could and try to empower myself or others.
I popped into a Cafe and a mum sat on her own with her 3 children. The children were so beautiful to each other and mum while she queued and ferried stuff to and from the table and they helped her. No screaming no squabbles no tears.
It stood out to me because as a mum of an autistic daughter this would never be this straightforward so I decided to empower that mum she was doing great.
It felt awkward, it felt a bit embarrassing and a bit clumsy but once I finished my tea I went to her table and just said "excuse me". She turned and I told her that her children had been fantastic not because I have Victorian morals (kids should be seen and not heard) but because I saw it for the lovely scenario it was and one I would probably not encounter with my own daughter.
She was surprised and thanked me, and became a little apologetic that tommorow maybe a completely different story when they don't behave. That was irrelevant today was good and I wanted her to know so. To empower her. In real. Life. Not just a bumper sticker talking of how to empower women and mothers.
I felt a little emosh after but really glad I did it.
Let's get involved. Let's stop procrastination over social media because it's fooling us we're doing something in our minds when we may not be.
Your child will have challenging behaviours such as whining, physical aggressiveness, and insisting on doing things her own way.

The Den of Nargun // such a fascinating place to explore 😊 aboriginal belief is that a Nargun resides in the den, a female creature that is all stone except for the breast, arms and hands. The Nargun would drag unwary passers-by into the den, and it could turn any spear or bullet back upon you.
9 months!! How has this happened? These past months have gone so quick it's unbelievable.
I love watching this little man grow and see is beautiful personality shine through.
HAPPY 9 MONTHS TO MY SON 😍😍

[AD] Harrison loves bath time and loves it when we play with the bubbles his new fave word at the moment is "bubbbles". When it comes to what I use on Harrison’s skin I always use something that wont irritate his eczema as he suffers quite bad with it, I’ve tried quite a few different products but always found they dry his skin more and cause it to flare up. For over a week now we’ve been using @fifiandfriendsofficial and I have to say I honestly love there products! I’ve been using the rescue cream on his eczema and it’s helped so much his skin doesn’t feel dry and feels soft and moisturised all the time and cleared up loads. If you’re swipe across you will see a before and after using the cream. I love the products because not only do they smell amazing but there hypoallergenic & dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive skin & for newborns and upwards there also vegetarian and vegan-friendly and are never tested on animals. You can buy there products in Harrods, Harvey Nichols & on fifiandfriends.co.uk 💕

Hooray for the Easter weekend! And the ☀️☀️☀️The school holidays have been pretty full on so far keeping these two entertained along with the dog whilst the hubby has been away. But now we're at the grandparents so I no longer need 4 hands and eyes in the back of my head! And relax...I'm actually off on a play date this afternoon with friends in Nottingham so life is good. Have a great weekend all however you're spending it 🌸 #easter#easterholidays#schoolholidays
A gorgeous start to the Easter weekend 🐰 wishing you all, whatever your creeds and cultures, a perfect weekend with your families... full of chocolate and appreciation for the extra helping hands to manage your child's sugar rush 😂
Lovely start to the Easter weekend with this weather we've woken up to 🌼🌳 this is one of Max's holiday outfits but I couldn't resist putting it on today, and the mini aviators are just a cute added bonus 😎
Wish I could pull off the mustard look but I think I've just resigned myself to the fact that my boy will always be more fashionable than I am!
Tested out the ol’ self timer the other day and managed to capture this.
Just the smallest one and me at home for the next two nights. Hubby is working and the big kids are hanging with grandparents and cousins 😍
