"Whatever it is that you think you want to do, and whatever it is that you think stands between you and that, stop making excuses. You can do anything." -- Katia Beauchamp
This quote resonates a lot with me because a while ago I joined the financial world and if you don’t know, it’s not an easy business. It is commission based which means you control your pay but you basically have to switch to an entrepreneurial mindset. As with all commission based work; Real estate, insurance, sales etc. you have to start from the bottom and build your empire. And unless you have a lot of connections from the gecko, it’s not easy. People will judge you and say it’s a “scam” “pyramid scheme” “doesn’t work” you name it. I let myself get talked into believing that it wouldn’t work for me and so I quit. I even deleted my old IG to get away from the negativity. I realize now that I really just don’t give a damn if people believe I won’t make something out of it. At the end of the day, I’m proving it to myself not any of you. With that being said, if you don’t want to see any of my work related posts go ahead and unfollow me. ✌🏼

i know how heavy as fuck it can feel in your heart and how much it can literally hurt your head, that some people just don’t get that we’re all obviously the same on the inside. the same fears. the same desires for our lives. the same needs. for open minded people, it can be hard to comprehend how some people don’t understand that we should all be treated equally.
sending strength and love and peace and hope to anyone who’s struggling to cope with the worlds fuckeries tonight. i struggle with it often myself, but especially in times when things so grim are happening it can be really heavy.
keep doing what you can to spread awareness, understanding, compassion. if you hear or see someone say/post something that’s wrong, question or correct it. speak up wherever you can for whoever you can.
we are all family and need to start seeing ourselves as one, we need to look out for each other.
