A little transformation.. The first picture is me in October 2014. I was unhappy and unconfident. I had not long come out of a long and unhealthy relationship. The second picture December 2015, I am healthy and truly happy. The last picture is February of this year. I am still very happy, I am taking the gym more seriously than ever and I am happy working on me for me 🥰 I don’t always feel happy with the way my body is right now but sometimes it helps to look back on how far you’ve come! These things don’t happen overnight, it takes time. Trust the process 💕

The goal of rest from the RICE pneumonic was really just to protect, so basically just don’t cause more damage. The “R” is better replaced with “POL” – POLICE.

It makes sense. Disuse doesn’t promote adaptation under any circumstances.
Blood Flow Restriction training accelerates healing, helps stimulate growth, and recruit higher threshold motor units without causing muscle damage or requiring heavier weights.
So, here’s ~20% x 30, 15, 15, 15. Skip to the end for quad veins.
Heels elevated to shift some weight over to the quads. Iced it ~1 hour after finishing to control swelling while still allowing the increased blood flow to deliver nutrients etc.
Tried some light isolation work afterwards, but it’s not ready.

Tardes ☀️ Así termina mi entreno de brazos 💪🏽 desde casita🏠. Como mamá 👨👩👧👦, esposa y mi trabajo fuera de casa no puedo darme el lujo de entrenar en un gym, más sin embargo, poco a poco le he tomado cariño a mis rutinas en casa y la verdad es que ahora me encantan. Hago ejercicio con mi esposo, algunas veces mis hijos tratan de imitarnos 🤣, o ellos ya saben que los Sábados mamá entrena temprano y me da gusto darles ese ejemplo inconscientemente❤️💁🏽♀️
