Anna and I used to go here ALL the time. But then it closed down, and everything changed. She got married, had two kids, moved to Ealing and I found a man that meant sleepovers at hers weren’t really as much of an interest to me anymore!
But then a few weeks ago we discovered Michael (of course he still remembers Anna - and the one and ONLY marathon she ever ran) had re-opened Uli at Notting Hill Gate and therefore a date night was a MUST.
Tonight we went back, and not only did I have a date with my big cus that was almost as exciting as my first date with Rob...not quite mind...but also we had the most WONDERFUL dinner in a place that just felt like home.
Michael - thank you to you and your team for making us feel as welcome as you used to 10 years ago, London needs more restaurant owners like you. We will be back to visit - again and again, because you simply have such a beauty of a restaurant with a smile that is so irresistible we just cannot resist.
