Friday feels: BLACKENED SALMON and CHARRED CORN TACOS with a CILANTRO LIME SLAW! Seriously the best tacos I’ve had in ages! Made these for dinner the other night and thinking they will happen again this weekend. They are super easy and this slaw lasts for days in the fridge...I always end up throwing it on top of salads or just eating it straight out of the bowl 🙃 I used a simple blackening seasoning for the salmon (and you could sub for another fish or shrimp or chicken!) and it can be seared or grilled! I don’t eat corn regularly, but when I do I make it worth it! And this takes no time at all. Happy long weekend everyone! Any good plans for the holiday?
Deets: @sietefoods cassava and coconut tortillas heated up in a cast iron skillet. Filled with @lef_farms smooth greens blend, charred corn, cabbage slaw, tomatoes, avocado, blackened @butcher_box wild salmon and fresh jalapeño And cilantro.
1️⃣ Corn: slice fresh corn off of the husk and sauté it (no oil) on medium high for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until nice and brown. 2️⃣ Cabbage slaw: 1/2 purple cabbage shredded and tossed with juice of 2 limes (medium to large, 1/2 cup chopped cilantro, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper and 1/4 cup minced red onion.
3️⃣ Salmon: thaw and pat 2 salmon filets dry then season with 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne (or more) and then drizzle 1 teaspoon coconut aminos on top. If searing it then heat cast iron to medium high, melt some ghee or oil and sear skin side down for about 2 minutes, flip and transfer to oven at 400 for about 5 minutes depending on the size. •

Perfect appetizer that you can finish all by yourself before even your guests came😅
Cut the tomatoes in rounds.
Grind the cheese (personallyI love Jarlsberg, but you can use your favourite hard cheese).
Squeeze a couple gloves of garlic.
Mix the cheese with the garlic and some natural greek yogurt.
Sprinkle some dried oregano on top or if you have fresh basil or other herbs that would be even better and more colourful 🤩

Right now on the planet many people are waking up. Waking up and becoming more of who they really are….knowing they are MORE than the ego… more than the autopilot mind.
Our whole life we believe we are the ego…. and rightly so, since we are told that almost everything in our life is made to emphasize the senses. We experience reality though the 5 senses and believe that if we can touch, smell, taste, hear or see something… then it is real.
However we know that there is more beyond that… since we know we may not hear the sound of a dog whistle, yet it still exists... What’s happening on the planet right now is people are waking up from believing they are ONLY the senses.
People are goin inwards and because of that, people are realizing there is more to life than what is experienced through the 5 senses.
Going inwards will eventually being you to the awareness that you are a spiritual being having a temporary human experience. We exist at many different levels of reality however we forget that when we are born here on earth.
Here’s the thing though… that’s a part of the game. In this reality we FORGET who we are so that we can go through the process of remembering. Right now, millions of people are remembering who they are. Remembering that there is more to reality than what is experienced through the ego. Remembering that we are all connected and that labels don’t really matter.
The ones waking up first are going to be helping those who wake up later. This includes YOU.. Notice how many people who are now waking up are that one “weird” person in the family…. This was intentional and we all spread out to have the most impact. YOU came here to live your truth… YOU came here to wake up now… YOU came to be a lighthouse to those who will wake up soon. YOU came here to be BOLD and by you being you… you’ll give permission to other people to be themselves.
I know we are all beyond labels…. but with that being said… where my lightworkers at?💫👽
